Pitch black pour, small brown head. Roasty malt aroma with notes of chocolate and blackberries. Flavor is of dark chocolate, blackberries, and roasted malts.

330ml bottle at home. Black color with beige brown head. Roasted malty aroma, coffee, light chocolate, something like boiled beans (soy sauce?). Taste is sweet and bitter, like the aroma (without the soy sauce), roasted malty with coffee, cocoa and chocolate. Medium to full oily body, soft carbonation, bitter light alcoholic finish.

Bottle pour. Intense coffee aroma. Very smooth, yet strong. Great balance. Really good.

Lekker !

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Stas & Vova. Black. Deep chocolate aroma with hints of vanilla pods. A little salty, soft bitterness, rich taste. Full body, syrupy texture, long, lingering cocoa finish.

Strong aroma of molasses, leather, soil, booze, roast, some coffee and dark chocolate. Smells great. Looks great too; pitch black with a tiny head of light brown foam that clings on to the glass. Taste is soy sauce, sharp hops, heavy roast, dark coffee and smoke. Warming booze heat and a slight red wine flavor in the aftertaste. Very heavy handed flavor; I’m looking forward to the bottle I am aging. Palate is smooth but a little light for the style. Overall good; ET knows how to make an Imperial Stout.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Stas & Vova. Black with a bit of brown foam. Nice big dark chocolate aroma with some cocoa and coffee. Sweet flavor with dark chocolate, roast and a bit of dark fruits. Pretty full-bodied with a rounded mouthfeel. Very good.

Pure black body sits beneath a slowly fading, creamy smooth, one inch, medium khaki head which eventually falls to a thin ring and a couple dots of lace

A festival of berries, pine needles, and grapefruit rind with dark roast coffee and smokey accents bridging into rich dark complexities of vanilla, treacle, dark caramel, and dark chocolate with a touch of alcohol spice and beef jerky on a heavy, mildly carbonated body offering a burst of spice as the residual opens, melting back to reveal balanced, extended waves of the previously mentioned components, another great imperial stout from Jeppe

12oz bottle code 231:14 09:36 served at 55º into 13.5oz Red Vanilla Lara Brandy snifter
