Beergaard (338) - Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 28, 2016
Black beer with a nice beige head. Aroma of licorice, smoke, sweet roast. Some boozy taste notes combined with good harsh roasted notes and a nice amount of hops. Too thin for a 10 percent stout.

gripweed57 (2460) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - NOV 24, 2016
12 ounce bottle. Opaque black color topped by a small creamy beige head. Rich roasted malt nose dark coffee and pot roast. Wow, intense bitter hops wallop you with first sip. Notes of coal tar, burnt ends of brisket and scorched walnuts. The bitterness lasts forever. Alcohol warmth helps to forget the intense hop bitterness. Charred wood finish.

ghendrix (153) - Rochester, New York, USA - NOV 20, 2016
Bottle at home. Pours totally black, frothy brown head, quite oily. Aromas of dark chocolate, coffee, caramel, red fruits. Lots of roasted malt bitterness, medium-heavy sweetness. Bitterness lasts and lasts, a *very* long finish. Still tasting it after 5 minutes. Gets more interesting with subtle flavours as it lingers, there’s even something like a beef and red wine casserole, and intense dark chocolate with red berries. Very interesting. The bitterness up front is maybe more than it could be. Medium-full body and a tangy, medium feel, alcohol is noticeable.

dysenteri (324) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - NOV 16, 2016
161116. Bottle from 2014. Pitch black, brown beige foamy head. Looks delicious. Coffee, chocolate, hazelnut, syrup. Sweet and mildly roastiness. Nice combo, not that thick that I recall though.
