Zlotta (3287) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - JAN 5, 2017
Sampled from tap at ’Craft Beer Corner’. Pitch black with a light brown head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of milk chocolate, nougat, milk coffee and hazelnut. Rather sweet, malty and slightly roasty taste of milk chocolate, praline, hazelnut, lots of coffee and some hazelnut, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Good stuff!

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Aged for around 1 year. Opaque black with a thick dark tan head of foam. It has a very rich chocolate, oak, liquorice, coffee and spicy red fruit flavour with a bitter-sweet, warming, tart fruity and chocolate finish. Great!

Faathoven (104) - Barcellona P.G., ITALY - DEC 30, 2016
Pours black as night with a thin khaki brown head. Aroma is deep dark chocolate, roasted malts, burnt sugar, fudge and a slight vanilla note. Flavour is quite the same with a roasted presence lingering till the end and a huge fudgy character. A bit sour note as it warms, given by the roasted malts. Not so boozy and impressive for that. Finish is bitter chocolate. Full body and creamy mouthfeel with low carbonation. Nice overall.

dnstone (3418) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - DEC 28, 2016
Pours black in color with a bit of off white head. Fairly hopped piney aroma. Roasty followed piney hop notes, like a stout meets IPA, and light bodied. Notes: On tap at One Mile House Bar NYC (Dec ’16)

Flaska på Chapter. Massor av arom. Tar ett tag o smälta alla dofter. Här är lakrits läder kaffe o choklad. Smaken något för kraftig för min smak. Smakerna är dock goda. Kaffe o lakrits i en galen mängd. För mig är efterbeskan riktig angenäm. God!

Gurthnar (5873) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - DEC 27, 2016
Tap at Damian, Christmas 2016. Quite intense and enjoyable. Rather sweetish, with chocolate, roast and some citrusy hoppiness taking the spotlight. Finishes well balanced by a dark chocolate bitter note. Quite tasty. Full bodied, with alcohol hidden well and relatively easy drinking. Great.
