bottle. hazy bronze under a huge, foamy tan head. aroma is a blend of floral, pear and orange. the head on this thing is crazy slow. a full 20 min. flavors of caramel malt and a little oak. hops are present but take the backseat to the malts here. high carbonation with a medium body. stobbe74 (3789) - DENMARK - JUL 22, 2011
Pours an unclear and dark amber beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, white wine and hops with grapefruit and peach. The flavor follows the nose with additional notes of flowers. The palate is dry. Overall a good beer. dnstone (3418) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUL 21, 2011
Deep hazy amber with tan head. Piney-fruity aroma. Smooth and hoppy-fruity...a great ipa! sfhodense (4789) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - JUL 18, 2011

Bottle at a Max tasting. Pours an effervescent tannish amber with massively rocky off-white head. Rough aroma of peas, caramel, sulfur, and a slight charcoal quality. Flavor is dry, yeasty with some nutty malt. Moderately heavy edamame notes. Slightly creamy body. Nutty finish with plenty of vegetal hops and some diacetyl. A bit rough but somehow enjoyable.

Bottle. Very elegant beer. The hops and the qualities of the chardonnnay wine fits perfectly together. It actually reminds me of a sweet and crisp riesling wine. finol (3391) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 10, 2011
Bottle from Khioskh.
Pours dark brown-red with a toffe collored head.
Balanced beer, vinous and hoppy. italianjohn (3140) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 10, 2011
Hazy amber orange pour lots of rocky off white head ... this was very carbonated ... aroma is of caramel malts and some resiny hop, earthy and a little fruity ... taste is earthy with sweet chewy caramel malts, little sweet and fruity chardonnay barrel detected with a bitter hop that flowed into the finish ... the abv is hidden well but this beer is way overpriced and nothing special Peregrinari (148) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUL 9, 2011
Aroma is the thing that stands out about this brew. Very nice. I don’t think I was prepared for how different the taste is from the aroma. The taste is a bit bitter with some elements of smoke and citrus with grape (hence the wine that it is blended in). The finish is fairly dry with only a touch of stickyness and some lingering grape flavor. Overall not bad but not one I would seek out again. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 9, 2011
33cl bottle. Large, rocky off-white head atop cloudy dark amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, grape, grapefruit, bread. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit/grape, light bread, sour. Soft medium-full body.
