Draft to taster at HopCat in Indy. Looks good; a fairly opaque very dark (almost dull black) cola with beige head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells and tastes of dark malt, chocolate, and smoke with a mild nutty presence. Mouthfeel is medium full-bodied, slick, and moderately bitter. Enjoyable. fonefan (49435) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JAN 5, 2017

Pours black with a nice espresso swirl head that manages a bit of lacing on the glass.
The worm aid somewhat floral, slightly sweet, with a nice coffee character. It’s almost smells like coffee with cream at some points. It’s got some rye bread and maybe some cardamom.
The flavor is really pretty dry for an imperial stout. It’s got some cocoa powder and a nice coffee character. It hints at sweetness at times and does have a good chocolate character.
A totally unique imperial stout on all accords.
an ipa. chalky in the finish and as such dry. not chocolatey. citrus well muted and not sharp slightly tart. palate travels. tastes red.
