COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Few times in the history of craft beer it has happened that a highly praised beer rises beyond mortal stardom into a higher godly league. Usually the recipe to make such heavenly drops is thick fudge-like body, pitch black color, amazingly overwhelming aromas of chocolate, coffee, dark fruits and muscovado sugar, obviously only made in limited amounts and most crucial of all it must taste rare!

Flagowy RIS Evil Twina, solidny i degustacyjny. Można się nim rozkoszować przez długie chwile, ale pije się go także dość lekko.

Saeglopur (1820) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - NOV 28, 2016
473 ml can, batch #005, bought at Utobeer Market Stall, London.
Pitch black, oily liquid, with a beautiful, thick, dense, moderately lacing, dark coffee-colored head.
Aroma of chocolate, coffee, wood, molasses, liquorice, dark fruits, subtle fruity hops.
Tastes similar, very smooth, with creamy chocolate, subtle hops and some alcohol.
Full, very creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes roasty-dry, wooden, alcohol warming, with liquorice, coffee beans, bitter chocolate, some burnt sugar, subtle hops.

Delicious! Very dense, even for this style, with a thick mixture of creamy chocolate, heavy roast, but also some fruity notes. Heavy stuff, a bit boozy, while still quite smooth to drink because of the great balance. Oustanding example of a pure Imperial Stout!

Deep black hue with a thin tan head. Big roasty and licorice sweet cocoa nose. Big bold dark chocolate flavor with licorice and molasses, lots of black malt roast, earthy cocoa and a little touch of black coffee at the end. Boozy and rich and roasty and sweet. Intense but amazing.

neongolden (1285) - Linkping, Sweden/Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 18, 2016
(650ml bottle from Mikkeller Webshop shared) Pours black with a smallish medium tan head that fades to a ring with spotty lace. Aroma is dominated by big roasted and umami notes, with charred malt, slightly overheated coffee, light smoke, dark bread, muscovado, molasses, soy sauce, chocolate. Flavour is more rich and sweet than the nose, with caramel and molasses, confectionary chocolate, dried fruit, heavily roasted grain, subtle spiced rum-like notes, subtle notes of coffee, liquorice and soy. Finish has moderate bitterness with smoky roast, lingering chocolate and spirit notes, and a bit of umami, bare touch of alcohol heat. Full, viscous oily body with fairly soft carb. A nice big rich adjunct-free stout, just on the drinkable side of sweet.

Bottle, Brewdog Leicester. Black with a beige head. Coffee with molasses and dark chocolate. Creamy vanilla with cola. Oily with light fattiness. Hints of smoke with traces of meat. Raisins with brown sugar. Herbal liquorice with a spicy, sweet finish. Not quite as good as Speedway Stout or Dark Lord but still excellent.
