COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Few times in the history of craft beer it has happened that a highly praised beer rises beyond mortal stardom into a higher godly league. Usually the recipe to make such heavenly drops is thick fudge-like body, pitch black color, amazingly overwhelming aromas of chocolate, coffee, dark fruits and muscovado sugar, obviously only made in limited amounts and most crucial of all it must taste rare!

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2015 This beast pours jet black with a coffee-colored head that dissipates quickly into a very thin ring. Superb, and I mean SUPERB aroma of chocolate cake, fudge, a hint of coffee, white nougat, burnt sugar, old wood, vanilla, and roasted malts. These notes all work together in perfect tandem, its actually flabbergasting how beautiful the aroma is. Its assertive without being cloying. The taste is the very definition of harmony: sweet choc, bitter dark malts, woody booze, all put together by a thick, syrupy mouthfeel with the most elegant carbonation. Its so thick itll coat the inside of your glass. You could, if you so chose, down it in a few seconds, but you will have the willpower to sip it all the way through, because its that f***ing good. Im having a hard time not giving this beer a perfect 5. It is quite likely the most balanced stout Ive had. On a league of its own.

Rating #500. Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Clear, darkest brown. Light brown halo of head. Thick, wet, muscovado sugar. Quality milk chocolate rum truffle. Hint of cold espresso. Boozy vine fruits. Nothing overpowers, however. Taste is rich, boozy sweetness. Dark chocolate dry. Palate is thick, oily and unctuous. Finish is light dry. The truffle sweetness remains throughout. Silly easy to drink. Delightful.

Solid, bigger bodied stout. Get mostly chocolate on the aroma and taste, but a nice amount of roasted malt also. Didnt get much coffee flavors, but it was very smooth for being around 12%

An outstanding stout. Pours an inky black with a small tan head. Just delicious-taste of roasted malt and coffee. Everything an Imperial Stout should be. Just excellent.

Aroma - is dark chocolate, caramel, roast, and slightly nutty Appearance - its opaque black. with a thin, tan head, that quickly fades Taste - mimics the aroma well, it has that rich dark chocolate, warm alcohol, dark fruits, roasted malts, and nice bitter that isnt too intense Feel - nice bitter that isnt overly powerful washes over the tongue. its nice and rich, creamy, and smooth. Great beer. Won our 1st Craft Beer Social, which was an Open - No Beers Prohibited c/o Johnny S. Beer #6 of the Craft Beer Social Club Chap #1 (LOuverture Sociale de la Bire)

660 ml bottle, pours jet black with a dark tan head. Aroma is dark chocolate, rich caramel, roasted coffee coming through in the finish. This beer has a melt in the mouth texture which is quite unusual and makes this beer a bit special, leaving a finish that s quite dry, given the thick oily palate you get at the outset. Carbonation is low an the alcohol is noticeable. Not a flawless beer but a really good one.
