Bottle consumed at the Blind Monk. Caramel malt and chocolate aromas. Dark brown/black pour with a tan head. Caramel, bitter coffee, chocolate, and dark roasted malt aromas. Not a big fan of the name of this beer, but as far as taste go, it is pretty good.
Intense notes of choco, toffee, cocoa, vanilla, some coffee, black with a thin tan head, full body, thick, sugary, choco again, very intense....good. ozzy70 (1250) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - OCT 15, 2017

A black beer, a head is medium and brown. Aroma has liquorice and salt liquorice, roastiness, sweetness, hint of alcohol. Taste has salt liqurice, balanced roastiness of coffee and sweetness, toffeeish maltyness, nice and drying bitterness, no alcohol anymore in taste. Full bodied, smooth, hint of stickyness. Rich, balanced, salt liquorice. Just a great beer. Oxytocin (203) - AUSTRIA - OCT 12, 2017
330 ml bottle, thick dark brown/black, with brown head.
roasty, coffee, chocolate, caramel, dried fruits, some alcohol
silky mouthfeel, full body, med sweetness, light to medium bitterness, warming, rather well balanced, maybe the alcohol a bit to pushy. Overall a really good beer though. PowY (975) - AUSTRIA - OCT 12, 2017
473 ml can. Pours oily and nearly black with a tan colored head. Aroma of roasted malt, rather mild, toffee, caramel, some coffee, molasses, some hazelnuts. Full creamy body with a low carbonation, a medium sweetness, a light bitterness and some warming alcohol. The aroma is full of roasted malt with lots of chocolate, coffee, molasses, hazelnuts, some dark fruits in the back and some subtle hops. Finishes roasty, bitter with notes of coffee and nuts and a lasting bitterness. Overall very nicely balanced and an excellent beer.

1 pint can. Pours black with full dark tan head. Aromas of dark syrupy chocolate, vanilla, coffee, alcohol and roasted malts. Flavors of dark licorice, dark chocolate powder, black coffee, and dusty roasted malts. A little vanilla extract and dark sugar. Franckg (1811) - Trois-Rivières, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 8, 2017
Canette.
