COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Few times in the history of craft beer it has happened that a highly praised beer rises beyond mortal stardom into a higher godly league. Usually the recipe to make such heavenly drops is thick fudge-like body, pitch black color, amazingly overwhelming aromas of chocolate, coffee, dark fruits and muscovado sugar, obviously only made in limited amounts and most crucial of all it must taste rare!

Bottle. Low and quickly disappearing fluffy brown head. Pitch black body. Powerful sweet and sugary choccolate coffee aroma plus a hint of alcohol. Hard roasted barley malt creamy coffee choccolate dried fruigt flavor and a fair amount of hops bitterness. Low carbonation. Long bitter sweet finish.

Heavy bourbon vanilla aroma. Heavy booze interferes with much of the rest. Nutty chocolatey but bourbon dominant. Way too boozy for me, but tasty nonetheless.

0.66l bottle. Pitch black body with a thin light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, oak, sour cherry and booze. Taste of chocolate, sour cherry, caramel and raisins. It was harsh first, but it mellowed out. I like it.

From 500ml can. Pours black with brown head which disappears to lacing. Aroma is of dates, liquorice and chocolate. Full body with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Complex palate with liquorice, roasted malts and winter fruits. Very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Fluffy dark tan head, nearly black sense body. Cocoa, dark chocolate, toasty coffee, some dark fruit as well in the aroma. Flavor is a bit more toasty and smoky, but features the dark fudge, dark fruit, slight peat, and bitter chocolate and roast finish. Thicker viscous body with nice carbonation.

On tap. Black pour with generous beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, caramel, dark fruits, licorice and vanilla. Taste of chocolate fudge, coffee, roasted malts, licorice, vanilla, dark fruits, lactose, caramel and faint hops. Creamy smooth mouthfeel, perfect carbonation, perfectly balanced. Brilliant beer, a pleasure to try, does not get much better than this! Absolutely decadent!

FROTHINGSLOSH (7161) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 7, 2017
Sampled from a 16 oz can this beer poured a black color with a huge foamy very dark brown head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sharp floral hops, roasty malts and anise. The flavor was sweetish and toasty with notes of port wine, black licorice, coffee, cocoa and floral hops. Long finish with lingering port wine, cocoa and black licorice. Alcohol well contained for 12%. Full bodied, smooth and creamy. Outstanding.

Can shared with a friend. Black color with a foamy beige head. Heavy chocolate, roasted malt, sweetness as aromas. Rich creamy stout, medium sweetness, light bitterness, black chocolate, vanilla, interresting alcohol feeling but certainly not 12%. Great beer!

Pours pitch black with a light beige head. Roasted malts predominate in the nose and taste, lots of espresso-type bitterness, but also some sweet molasses, licorice and dark chocolate notes. Despite the lack of sweetness I really, really liked this one, def. better than the BA Maple Bourbon Jesus.

Pours opaque black into the glass with a deep chocolate 3-finger head that retains well, leaving generous lacing. Huge chocolate and coffee notes, with a hint of vanilla lingering amongst the waft. Sweet chocolates, mixed from dark to milk, combine with a nice note of java and just a hint of grains, bitters and alcohol to close the pull exquisitely. The mouthfeel is very soft and velvety, with a perfect full body embracing the palate with luscious creamy richness and complexity for days. This is an absolutely superb (and Im careful with the word "superb") imperial milk/sweet stout. It hits all the right areas, and with top-tier preparation. With the ABV hidden ever-so-well, just poking through at the right times, this is a substantive brew that I would have absolutely anytime. Extremely well done!
