COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Few times in the history of craft beer it has happened that a highly praised beer rises beyond mortal stardom into a higher godly league. Usually the recipe to make such heavenly drops is thick fudge-like body, pitch black color, amazingly overwhelming aromas of chocolate, coffee, dark fruits and muscovado sugar, obviously only made in limited amounts and most crucial of all – it must taste rare!

Black as midnight pour, thick tan head, nose and flavor of bitter chocolate, coffee, smoked meat, cedar shavings, roast, graham cracker, clove, nutmeg, sandalwood, mandarin orange, tangerine, strawberry, raspberry, apricot, plum, tobacco, leather, raisin, fig, date, and prune. Insanely complex with an absolute motor oil consistency. Even bigger than Dark Lord, and far more balanced and delicious with an eternal syrupy, bittersweet finish. OMG! My new favorite RIS, hands down.

Black with dark brown, chocolate shake, head, with fine, wet lacing / Rich nose of dark fruit, chocolate, molasses, tobacco, caramel, coffee / Full body, smooth, creamy with some chew, sweet but with excellent balance and bitter finish, light & appealing boozy winey-ness / Flavors of roast coffee, molasses, bittersweet chocolate, caramel, date, prune, cream, cigar box / If you like these big, rich, intense stouts, this is probably a perfect example.

Evil Twin delivers another treat! This is a BIG stout that pours from the can like used motor oil. Very chewy mouthfeel. Sweet syrup and dark chocolate assault the senses up front followed by a pleasant dry roast on the palate.

Smell of roasted barley dark chocolate and huge coffee scent what the perfect stout should smell like. Super thick and pitch black just like used oil from a car with three plus finger dark brown head best head I’ve seen on any brew and that color of the head is amazing nothing else like it. Taste starts off with sweet chocolate followed by roasted barley flavor then becomes super tasty smooth big coffee to the tongue awesome palate pleaser. Full body which coats the tongue with perfect carbonation for the style of brew best ever. All in all I can say without thinking to hard about it this is the best stout I’ve ever had nice work keep making those crazy awesome brews.

Aroma: Medium high roasted, licorice, cherry, tobacco, Appearance: Black body, opaque. Medium-large rocky head. Chocolate brown colored head, various bubbles. Good retention with lacing. Flavour: Medium roasty, chocolate, licorice, Medium-light vanilla, wood, Medium-high bitterness. Dry finish with lingering licorice and bitterness. Mouthfeel: Light warming. Full bodied, creamy. Overall: Rich, luscious, smooth! The alcohol is present, but does not overpower. The beer is incredibly well balanced, even though everything is standing no the strong side. 500 ml can, poured. 20C. Imperial Stout

I feel incredibly lucky to have a consistent supply of this amazing beer on the regular. Pours like motor oil with an aroma that brings coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, booze, and burnt caramel. Taste follows. Body is heavy, thick, syrupy goodness. Simply amazing all around.
