Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Orange hazy, enormous white head. Smells of dust, citrus, malts and grass. Moderate sweet, quite dry and dusty, some malts. Medium bitter, resins and grass. Very nice pale ale, nice aromas, a bit outside the standard box, easy drinkable, dry, not too bitter. This could easily be my everyday beer

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From tap. Golden body. White head. Quite a lot of hop aroma, IPA-like amount. Citrus and grapefruit aroma as well. Not a very pleasant nose, but it’s no big problem. Quite bitter - I think I would’ve guessed that this was an IPA if tested blind. Good beer!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Medium white head. Hazy deep yellow body. Resiny mealy aroma
with citric funky notes. Dryish mealy resiny orangey taste with
funky earthy notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, mealy mouthfeel. Dry
resiny wooden orangey aftertaste with earthy funky grassy notes,
even touches of dandelion. Very nice. Drinkable, and with some
real character. (0.4l draft x 3, Olympen, Oslo.)

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ Gaasa, Oslo. At last! Grünerløkka has its own hipster ale - I’ve been waiting for this one a while. :-) Pours a hazy orange body with a medium white head. Nose is bitter pine and grapefruit, hints of skunky herbs and citric peel. Taste is bitter citric peel, grainy honey tones in the back and a stingy hop finish. Dry, with a light body. Pretty straightforward and drinkable. But is it hip enough? Only the hipsters can tell, but I’m guessing since hipsters dread being categorized in the first place they’ll probably frown at this. :-P

Bottle @ Olympen. Hazy golden body with a decent off-white head. Aroma of citric fruity hops and hint of spices. Flavor is quite smooth malty, medium bitter and citric fruit with a hint of yeast and spices. Medium body. Nice, not to complicated or complex, still interesting in flavor and very drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Citrus, some hay og light malts in the aroma.
Taste is quite dry, some grassy/hay-notes, fruit, tangerine, orange, before more bitter grapefruit takes over towards the finish. Dry and very little malt backbone.
