3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Valkendorfgaten, Bergen. Pours hazed golden with a big white creamy head. Aroma of citrussy and fruity hops. Taste is strong hoppy, resiny and grapefruit, very light malty body underneath. Dry bitter end.
From tap. Golden body. White head. Quite a lot of hop aroma, IPA-like amount. Citrus and grapefruit aroma as well. Not a very pleasant nose, but it’s no big problem. Quite bitter - I think I would’ve guessed that this was an IPA if tested blind. Good beer! AcctError151190 (26) - NORWAY - JAN 25, 2013
Citrus, some hay og light malts in the aroma.
Taste is quite dry, some grassy/hay-notes, fruit, tangerine, orange, before more bitter grapefruit takes over towards the finish. Dry and very little malt backbone.
Very refreshing. Holmen1 (6626) - Stavanger, NORWAY - DEC 23, 2012
Shared 330 ml bottle courtesy of neonwalk. Clear light golden with a small white dense head. Cat piss dominates the nose. Nice lasting bitterness, dry tongue and a medium body. tfredvik (2074) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 4, 2012
In the glass it looks quite clear, apart from some medium sized chunks that are suspended in the light golden body. The head is rather large, creamy, long-lived and it laces the glass excellently. The aroma isn’t very strong, and at first I didn’t find it that pleasant, there were some pale malt notes and some vague cereal-like stuff that wasn’t really that inviting. But soon enough it opens up, and I realise that in addition to the malty elements there are plenty of hops: the aroma is actually far more hoppy than malty. sweet fruity with peach and faint kiwi and citrus, dust and some pleasant caramel. The taste is moderate sweet and moderate plus bitter. The flavours are a nice mix of initial caramel sweetness that soon is replaced by stinging grapefruit. Pleasant mouthfeel, the rather light body fits the crisp flavours. Smooth texture and soft to moderate carbonation. A simple and nice beer.

[33 cl bottle, enjoyed 2 months before BB date, from Vinmonopolet Vika, Oslo]
Bottle, brought home from Vinmonopolet, Vika. Hazed gold colored body, under a finger of lacing near-white head. Fresh and subtle hop aroma; Tangerines, fruit-candy and orange-marmelade. Nice! Properly light-bodied. Easy on the palate. Nicely balanced, the fruity hops merges well with the subdued, light toasty malt body. A treat! Should easily attract most of the peasants (aka hipsters) frequenting Grünerløkka. Beer5000 (6820) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 2, 2012
Bottle @ Olympen. Hazy golden body with a decent off-white head. Aroma of citric fruity hops and hint of spices. Flavor is quite smooth malty, medium bitter and citric fruit with a hint of yeast and spices. Medium body. Nice, not to complicated or complex, still interesting in flavor and very drinkable. garza (574) - Oslo (NO), Caracas (VE), VENEZUELA - OCT 26, 2012
Pours a cloudy orange/golden look with a frothy white head. Fruity and spiced aroma with citrus and graefruit notes. Malty, spiced and refreshing flavour with light sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, oily feel, soft carbonation and a good dry mild bitter finish. Good. gunnfryd (15483) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 13, 2012
