Black, no head. Aroma is weird, some licorice and almonds. Taste is chocolate, vanilla and chili. Oily texture. Interesting beer again by Evil Twin. Weird and unlike others.
Perfumey and chocolatey aroma. Initially it’s good with a strong chocolate and vanilla flavour but the acidic burn of the chilli in the throat is quite unpleasant. Leighton (22084) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 2, 2012
On tap at Borefts 2012, Bodegraven. Pours oily black with a light, brown foam head. Dark malt nose, light peat, burnt wood, something slightly vegetal (lettuce?). Hugely sweet flavor, lots of dark chocolate, sturdy roast, chili peppers. Full bodied with fine, chewy carbonation. Faint warmth in the finish, dark chocolate, some very hot chili spice - thought not too hot, it should be added. Lingering chocolate, oily sugars and heat. This beer has a very good level of hotness. It’s not overbearing like some spicy beers. Theis (15151) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2012

Tap @ Borefts 2012. The pour’s thick, deep black with a tiny tan head that quickly fades. The nose is big roasted grain, plenty of licorice, chocolate and hints of vanilla. Luxurious. The taste is chili-spiked chocolate cake. As you drink, the chili flavor really comes to the fore. The finish is hot and peppery. Thick fudge, sweet. Very oily, big body. Smooth and not overly boozy. Overall, if the chili was toned down slightly this would get a massive score. For chili lovers, this may be the ideal imperial stout! brokensail (16631) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 1, 2012
Black pour with a tan head. Very nice gingerbread aroma. Lots of chocolate and vanilla, roasted malt, a bit of chili pepper heat, and some cinnamon. The flavor is nicely spiced with gingerbread, cinnamon, nutmeg, and chili pepper flavors. Lots of roasted malt, chocolate, and a bit of coffee. Nice vanilla sweetness, too. madsberg (11776) - Søborg, DENMARK - SEP 30, 2012
Draught. Pitch black coloured. Dense brown head. Aroma: Coconut, roast, spice, chocolate, cocoa. Flavour. Alcohol, chili, roast, spice, chocolate. Medium to full bodied. Ends roasted bitter, with a heavy chili burn on lips on palate. Maybe its just me, but the chili was a bit too much dominating for my likings. joergen (29007) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 30, 2012

Draft @ Borefts 2012. Pitch black with a thick mocha head. Smell is huge thick vanilla paste and lots of coconut, bit candy-like, it is crazy, marzipan, white chocolate, dude. Tastes like condensed milk, coconut, vanilla extract, milk chocolate, small touch of chocolate and malt as well, the chili is very light and almost not noticable. Reasonably bodied, rather rediculous like most Evil Twin stuff but in a pretty good way. Hey Zeus
