“When I copied the famous Even More Jesus, I had to ask myself as an artist, why am I doing this? I didn’t honestly know. It was just an instinct about beer as pure form… in a sense this stout is like a metaphor for freedom - the sum of all the beauty that surrounds me and my perfect contemporary existence.”

Oxytocin (230) - AUSTRIA - DEC 13, 2017
330 ml bottle, very dark brown, small to no brown head.
very roasty, hazelnuts, toffee, chocolate, dried fruits, raisins, dates.
full creamy body, soft carbonisation, medium bitterness, rather heavy sweetness, warming. Quite good beer, maybe a little to sweet in my opinion and a little heavy on the alcohol.

PowY (1137) - AUSTRIA - DEC 13, 2017
355 ml bottle at home, Pours a very dark chestnut brown with a light red-brown head. The aroma is full of roasted malt, very nutty, toffee, sweet chocolate and nearly floral upon warming. Full creamy body with a medium to medium-heavy sweetness, a light to medium bitterness, a soft carbonation and some noticeable alcohol. The flavor is again full of sweet roasted malt - molasses, dark fruits, raisins, plums, chocolate - along with some alcohol but actually not warming. Finishes with sweetish roasted malt and a light bitterness. Overall rather sweet but never cloying and a really nice brew.

Piana drobna utrzymuje ie długo, zdobi szkło. Kolor czarny. Aromat dużo owoców, czarna porzeczka, wiśnie, truskawki, lekko karmel, gdybym nie widział tego piwa mówił bym ze to świetnie pachnący barley wine. Smak ponownie wspomniane owoce, dochodzi palonośc, czekolada, kawa, szlachetnie alkohol i wysoka pasująca goryczka. Piwo słodkie, dzięki palono kwaskowej kontrze pijalne, W smaku bez dwóch zdań RIS. Bardzo Dobre.

rumore (807) - Rimini, ITALY - NOV 26, 2017
33cl bottle from AbeerVinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours pitch black with limited and sticky fading brownish foam. Aroma is intensely toasted and alcoholic, plus cherries under spirit, hazelnut. Body is dense and carbonated, some astringency. Taste is intensely sweet and bitter, the latter being dominant in particular in the finish, which is relatively long. Also a bit of sour in taste.

2OLD4BS (15) - west windsor, New Jersey, USA - NOV 20, 2017
Too much alcohol in this stout. I was hoping for something smoother and more drinkable. Not a fan.

murzyn (549) - Sosnowiec, POLAND - NOV 14, 2017
Barwa czarna, piana mała.
Aromat gorzkiej czekolady, melasy, pralin, wiśnie, suszone owoce. Raczej delikatny.
W smaku kawa, czekolada, rodzynki, śliwki, sporo nut palonych. Ciało średnie, alko wyczuwalne.
Spoko pifko.

Blastomorpha (133) - - NOV 13, 2017
Pours pitch black with a very thin tan head.
Aroma is dusty, light traces of roastiness, winery notes and abundancy of liquorice.
Taste is less sweet than expected, with powerful and lasting bitterness and some alcohol. If you ever tried it, this beer reminded me of a Mikkeller Beer Geek Vanilla Shake with most of its sweetness removed.
Not a bad beer per se, but a bit of a letdown for its price.

What the heck. How does this have a high rating? Nothing on the Palate just light watery flatish with an alcohol finish. Yeah it has super high ABV but it is thin and has an alcohol bight. It needs more body. Pours no head and has a watery mouth feel. Sweet but cheap sweet with no backbone to stand up to. Sad. This beer is also $$$ for a four pack (at least where I am from). I would pay 9.99 for a 6 pack of this, as it isn't horrible. It is def drinkable but for the price there are TONS of better options in the imperial stout range with high ABV. Evil Twin Donk a Donk riders need to get over this.

90 (883) - BELGIUM - NOV 5, 2017
Aroma is roasted and umami, soy sauce Taste is grainy black coffee, soy sauce and a tad sweet. Chocolate, bitter and a hint of licorice . Burned chicory. Grind in palate.

Mpuntmuts (344) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 4, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 4, 2017 Darky dark pour. Thin to almost no head. Mild aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate and bread. Taste is pretty bitter and following the nose with some alcohol peaking through. Full bodied with low carbo. Great stout, not amazingly complex but a wonderful evening sipper. Love you too!!!
