Bottle shared with a Polish person. Pitch black with a large dark brown head. Cocoa, chocolate, hazelnut, a touch of fresh coffee grounds, charcoal, light dark dried fruits. Medium/full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Medium sweet and bitter. Doesn’t work THAT well for me, feels a bit thin and sweet. ColovianTrader (464) - - FEB 8, 2014
Incredible aroma of cocoa, caramelized sugar and espresso. Flavors of smooth coffee and caramel cream, biscuits and hints of dark fruits. Velvety texture. The_Osprey (7984) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 8, 2014
Big bottle BB 2015. Nice thick pour into a snifter. Black, small brown head endures. Smell - sharp metallic coffee, chocolate syrup. Body is medium, slightly foamy, low carbonation. Taste - chocolate syrup, a little coffee, sweet molasses, soy. OK. This series is a bit molasses-heavy for me. solros (88) - stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 7, 2014
Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a snifter. Pours black with medium light brown head. Aroma is nice coffee, thick/medium body, medium carbonation, and thick small bubble lacing. Taste is roasted malt, nice coffee, and some bitter hops in the finish. Very good imperial porter.

Bomber to snifter. Pours a deep black with a cream head. Smells malty and sweet. Taste follows smell directly. Oats, cookie, sweet, malty with little to no alcohol noticeable. Solid brew for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

Tap at CBC Clerkenwell, Pours brown, deep dark brown almost black, off cream thin head. Nose of biscuits, some fruits, and chocolate. Chocolate cake on the palate, big dark fruits, cherry, prunes, figs and dates, lovely beer, quite simple but not in a bad way. olr1984 (1500) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - JAN 29, 2014
22oz bottle pours a dark black with a tan head. Coffee vanilla hazel nut aroma. Coffee and sweet malt taste. maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JAN 25, 2014
Tap at CBC Clerkenwell at the Evil Twin meet the brewer event. A seriously good beer. Decadent chocolate and mocha notes which go hand in hand with the ash in this. Well balanced stuff. As amazing as this beer is, it still doesn’t compare to the Decicco version which is simply perfection
