COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Roman Empire had a certain “je ne sais quoi” festive food culture, extravagant architecture and spectacular live entertainment. Some might argue the Emperors were brutal, mad and hungry for power, and the people vain when taking baths and working out all day. Listen – that’s still all part of the secret Imperial ingredient – keep it cool, clean, confident, arrogant and flamboyant. Forza Imperiale.

Appearance: Poured with not head to speak of. Head could be forced by a vigorous swirl of the glass. This is pitch black and as I poured it the guys in the room all said "wow" because of the viscosity and the complete blackness. Smell: Coffee and a dark chocolate with molasses. There is some toasted notes also. There is a bitter coffee ground smell, too. Taste: This is like drinking a chocolate brownie! Coffee and sweet molasses show up and something that makes my pucker. Mouthfeel: This is one chewy beer. I feel like I need to chew instead of just swallow when I drink this one. It coates every corner of my mouth with thickness that lingers between sips. No carbonation on this at all. Overall: This is definitaly a beer that must be shared IMO because of how big it is. Although I did enjoy this it is one that is very bold and a HUGE beer.

A 22 fl. oz. bomber with no clear bottled on or best before date. Poured into a snifter. It was a dark dark brown to black in colour with pretty much no head and only sparse to no lacing. Aromas of toasted marshmallow, chocolate, coffee, vanilla with a light almond nuttiness and hints of caramel. Tastes of roasted dark malt sweetness, chocolate, coffee and vanilla. There is a hint of cherry and nuts on the finish. Creamy, thinner than expected at medium to full bodied with low carbonation and nice light alcohol warming. Overall a very nice sipper with great aromas and flavours.

Puszka, 1 pinta. Barwa brązowo - czarna. Aromaty: wanilia, marcepan, czekolada mleczna, kawa zbożowa. Can, 1 pnt. Color: black to brown. Aroma: vanilla, almonds, marzipan, milk chocolate, roasted coffee, roasted malts. Same with taste. It is mostly sweet, with well balanced bitterness. A bit watery, as for its parameters, and the alcohol gets on top of it. Too high carbonation, I would say you should wait a bit after opening. Overall it is still great beer, supreme with taste and aroma.

As with most imperials, it is smooth all the way through. It is a bit sweeter than my preference but not enough to distract from the coffee overtone. The best part of this brew is the aftertaste, quite wonderful. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Barwa czarna, piana brązowa, szybko redukuje się do obrączki. Aromat intensywny, zdominowany dodatkami, na pierwszym planie kawa i migdały, marcepan. W smaku pełne, gorzka czekolada, dużo marcepanu, nuty kawy i palone na drugim planie. Wanilia w tle, goryczka średnio-niska kakaowa. Pralinki z gorzkiej czekolady.

Piana niewielka, skromny jej krążek pozostaje do końca degustacji. Kolor czarny. Aromat, ciemne słody, palonosc, kawa, czekolada, kakao, estry owocowe, karmel, przyjemny. Smak, wyraźna świeżo mielona kawa, gorzka czekolada, palonośc, lukrecja, karmel, lekki popiół i estry. Całość gładka ułożona, bez wyczuwalnego alkoholu, o średniej słodyczy i mega pijalności przy 11,5%. Piwo Bardzo Dobre, powyżej przeciętnej ale bez efektu urywania czegokolwiek.

Sample at Brewskival 2017. Pours dark brown colour. Beige head. Caramel, coffee, cocoa, notes of toffee in the aroma. Beautiful smell. Caramel and toffee at first. Nutty in the middle. Toffee and cocoa in the end. Very well balanced and tasty imperial stout.

I love trying new beers. I fell in love with this one from the moment I tasted it. If you like coffee flavored imperial stouts this one is one of the best you can have. This is one of the best stouts I have ever tasted. Out of this world! It does not get any better than this. Enjoy!
