COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Roman Empire had a certain “je ne sais quoi” festive food culture, extravagant architecture and spectacular live entertainment. Some might argue the Emperors were brutal, mad and hungry for power, and the people vain when taking baths and working out all day. Listen – that’s still all part of the secret Imperial ingredient – keep it cool, clean, confident, arrogant and flamboyant. Forza Imperiale.

An imperial version of an 8.4% original? Wow. Sloppy seconds from TURDFERGUSON. Thick, oily black pour with a tan head. Nose is big coffee, toasted nuts, vanilla, and chocolate. Flavor is sweet. Palate is super rich. Great beer.

Very dark brown color with ecru foam that reduces to a ring in a matter of seconds. Smells of cocoa, chocolate, vanilla, and lots of almonds. Tastes of dessert chocolate, pralines with hints od vanilla and almonds. Carbonation is fizzly and felt on tongue and in the throat. Body is oily at first but after a while it feels slightly watered down

Strong coffee nose. Dark full foam. Taste of coffee and booze. Sweeet molasses and coffee after with almonds. Tart and bitter mouth feel. Exactly what you want from an imperial stout. Almost perfect.

Can. Black. Malt, roast, cinnamon, chocolate, hazelnuts and cacao in the aroma. Malty sweet alcoholic flavor with dark chocolate, hazelnuts and salted licorice. Cacao, roast, coffee. Sticky but decent.

PREZENTACJA: czarne z brązowymi przebłyskami, piana śladowa, sycząca, znika od razu;
AROMAT: pety w wodzie, popiół, po zabełtaniu na krótko migdały z wanilią;
po odstaniu dominuje wanilia z migdałami i nutka coli;
ODCZUCIE: ciało zawiesiste, najpierw średnie, średnio nasycone, zaraz obok dość gęste, syropowate, na długo oblepiające podniebienie, bąbelki drażnią język i przełyk, alkohol od razu rozgrzewa przełyk i lekko znieczula jamę ustną;
SMAK: bardzo słodki - migdały, wanilia, syrop klonowy, czekolada deserowa, cukrowa pianka, słodkie toffi, średnia czekoladowa goryczka ;

Bottle at home. Shared by Meilby, thanks! Alcohol, biscuit, almonds. Medium sweet, full bodied.

Drank in "Only good beers" while writing. Nice beer! Reminds me of KBS imperial stout due to the coffee-ness, but this is a very rich beer. Really like it. Alcohol is hidden, but present in the aftertaste, which even reminds me of Amaretto a bit.

Przewidywalny aromat, głównie czekolada i kawa. Barwa ciemna, nieprzejrzysta, lekka piana. W smaku to, co w aromacie, plus "ciasteczkowośc", smak jednak dość mdły, ciężki do picia większej ilości. Alkohol lekko wyczuwalny. Bardzo mnie to piwo zawiodło.

1 pint can split with Gyhallmanti. Appearance: pitchblack with medium dark head. Aroma: madame jeanette, paprika, coffee, cacao, earth/geosmin. Taste: high sweetness and high bitterness. Notes of paprika, madame jeanette taste (without the spice), coffee, earthy. Palate: medium bodied, sticky texture and soft carbonation. Expected more of this. No 'biscotti' to be found. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

1 pint can split with SimonBlok. Courtesy of SimonBlok. Pours a jetblack colour with a thin foam layer creeping up the glass. Aroma of paprika, coffee, medical supplies, cinnamon, cream, spices. Taste is medium sweet, moderate bitter with a moderate dry finish. Notes of paprika, cooked vegetables, coffee, cream, spices, earthy. Texture is oily to thick, full bodied with moderate carbonation

Pint-sized can. Pours jet black with a tan head. Aroma of gentle dark roasted malts, hazelnut liquor, marzipan chocolate. Taste is dry with average to high bitterness. Flavors of warm and slightly spicy alcohol, roasted dark malts, slight coffee, slight cocoa, and a touch of almond. Medium body, smooth yet thick texture, average carbonation. Frankly, I expected more from such a renowned brewery while this brew is ONLY fine at best. It has a certain "je ne sais quoi", as the label suggests, though it's not enough.
