COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Roman Empire had a certain “je ne sais quoi” festive food culture, extravagant architecture and spectacular live entertainment. Some might argue the Emperors were brutal, mad and hungry for power, and the people vain when taking baths and working out all day. Listen – that’s still all part of the secret Imperial ingredient – keep it cool, clean, confident, arrogant and flamboyant. Forza Imperiale.

Pours pitch black with a frothy mocha head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is of coffee with some chocolate and vanilla undertones. Taste is a nice balance of sweet and bitter with neither being overpowering. Creamy mouth feel, softer carbonation and full bodied. Awesome stout, really enjoyed this one.

Bottled @ Örebro Ölcafe. Pich black, beige small head, some lacing. Huge coffee and vanilla aroma. Medium carbonation, full-bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Roasted barley taste, coffee, vanilla, oily espresso beans and bitter cocoa. Dry, roasted and bitter finish. Alcohol is well hidden.

Turboninja (763) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 24, 2017
[email protected], Tampere, Finland. High quality and distinctive product with sweeter nuances of anis, vanilla, bourbon, some licorice and roasted malts. Balanced with strong body and medium/low carbonation. Could have more malty nuances.

From can. Pitch black body with a light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, vanilla, cocoa, coffee and cream. Taste of chocolate, plums, raisins, coffee, vanilla, bourbon and floral hops. Surprisingly mellow for a beer that is this strong. Great one for sure.

beskid (135) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - JUL 13, 2017
UPDATED: JUL 14, 2017 Dark brown, creamy head which quickly vanished. Deep aroma of coffee, cocoa, almonds, slightly alcoholic. Taste is lots of coffee, dark chocolate, nuts. Full body, quite warming inside. Feeling biscotti requires a bit of imagination, but there is something similar. The longer I drink it, the more I like it.

oobawa (1419) - Tennessee, USA - JUL 7, 2017
Massive chocolate-vanilla nose with hints of dark roasted coffee and licorice. Pours a gorgeous infinite black with a deep chocolate head and moderate lacing. Taste starts with a burst of dark chocolate and roasted malt, leading into a vanilla-laced middle underlined by dried apricots and black cherries, followed by a dry, roasty back end full of bitter chocolate, anise, and a deep vanilla sweetness. Mocha fade is accented by bitter, pine-tinged hops. Booze shows up like you’d expect in a 11.5% stout, but the warmth is bearable and the texture otherwise is thick and gooey. Delicious.

murzyn (297) - Sosnowiec, POLAND - JUL 7, 2017
Barwa czarna, piana beżowa, mała. Aromat to wspaniała, gorzka kawa, migdały, czekolada, wanilia i trochę paloności. Aromat wręcz wspaniały. W smaku pifko jest dość wytrawne. Jest wanilia, kawa, czekolada, wiśnia w alkoholu i czekoladzie, migdały. Wszystko to wykończone paloną goryczką. Alko wyczuwalne w szlachetnej formie. Bardzo dobre pifko.
