CBC Session 3. Opaque dark browm beer, small tan head. Palate is pretty light and a little sodt and semi dry. Rich dark malts, no roast or bitterness. Ironically more fruity notes in this one than the raspberry version. A vague notion of something peanut confims this is the right beer. Mild spice before the dry finish.
Tap at the Copenhagen beer festival... Deep black... Thin tan lacing... Dark roast... Bitter chocolate.. Soft peanut butter nose... Bitter chocolate.. Dark malts roast.. Leighton (23090) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 11, 2014
Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, Session 3. Pours dark black-brown with a thick, frothy beige head. The nose has moderate roasted malts, suggestions of charred peanut casings, dark fruits. Medium sweet flavor with bitter earth, dry chocolate, faint nuttiness. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Finish with alcohol warmth, dried berries, subtle nuts, chalky cocoa. Pretty average stuff. Not very exciting. Rasmus40 (22683) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUN 10, 2014
