Black pour under a thin foamy rocky head with a light tan hue. Nice aroma of coffee and light cocoa and light earthy black malt roastiness. Smooth and light flavor with a black malty crispness that’s dry and roasty, with earthy acrid coffee finishes. Ronritter (875) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - OCT 8, 2017

Bottle. Pours clear reddish black, small tan head, dissipates fairly quickly, good lacing. Aroma is coffee, cocoa, roasted malt. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter, coffee, root beer. Medium body, fizzy carbonation. Pretty decent, particularly at 4%. NikkTwist (3508) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 24, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 24, 2017 Draft at Bainbridge. Black pour with a thick brown head. Looks great. Tastes like a creamy Imperial Stout but ... watered down. The second pressing of the Biscotti Break with maybe some extra vanilla. Dark roast malts. Burnt marshmallows. Liquorice/fennel flavors. Sorta works but feels like big notes in a shallow pool. Black and a khaki colored head. Some coffee and a lottle marshmallow. Some sigar and well roasted malt. Good palate.

Strykzone (7889) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JUL 18, 2017
Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Amused at calling it an imperial. A huge tan head seems to take forever to fall. I smell a lot of nut aromas plus earth and coffee. Flavor is more coffee with a herbal bitterness. Citrus came later as did more roastiness. This is impressive for a 4.2% beer. This much flavor and feel in a session beer is a wonderful accomplishment. Standing ovation to Evil Twin! Bravo!! hayduke (5757) - Eureka, California, USA - JUL 18, 2017
This was shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Poured dark brown with a very large tan head with excellent retention. Nose of chocolate, nuts, and coffee. Body is medium to full with a creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is a lot of roasted malts, chocolate, light earthiness. Finishes with some citrus and a coffee bitterness. Hard to believe this is only 4.2%. Drinks much bigger than that. Very nice. drowland (9197) - Georgia, USA - MAR 15, 2017
4/9/16. On tap at World of Beer - Destin. Black pour with a nice brown head. Mild aroma with some hints of coffee and chocolate. Good flavor, creamy, flavorful, chocolate, coffee, some caramel. Tasty. Imaena (2295) - Maputo, MOZAMBIQUE - NOV 6, 2016
Bottle. This is a nice lower abv stout form ET. You obviously lose some of the warmth and richness in this but you still get a nice complex beer that weighs in at less than most craft brews.
