Bottle thanks to ygtbsm94: Poured a dark reddish brown with lots of carbonation. Very little head. Smooth light fruit of blueberry aroma. Taste is a acidic berry with woodsy wine hint toward the finish. Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - JAN 28, 2014
1/28/2014. 22 oz. bottle. pours a deep amber color with little to no head. Aromas are fruity and hints of oak. Light malt. Tart flavors with fruits showing, but not detecting much blueberry. Almost like a sour ale. I like this one, but not for what it was supposed to be. OPIE788 (337) - Ohio, USA - JAN 28, 2014
Bottle. I have mixed emotions about this one. It was really sour, exactly what I wanted. Taste was a little weird though. Fruit, funk, sour and a strange aftertaste. I’d drink it again but won’t buy it. fidelis83 (2437) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - JAN 26, 2014
Hazy orange to amber pour with a 1 finger, creamy off white head that has great retention. Aroma is loaded with blueberries, some sweet, toasty malt and light sweaty, sour funk. Flavor is a little thin, there’s some dried blueberry, dusty grain, raw wheat, light tart vinous notes and a little funk. Light body, dry, slightly dusty, but crisp feel throughout. Decent, I thought it was a little light on flavor for a Berliner Weisse. joshmcg000 (388) - Iowa, USA - JAN 26, 2014
Pours hazy gold with white head and really active carbonation. Aroma is heavy on blueberry. Very tart at first but it quickly balances out with a wheat malt character. Lots of blueberry’s, which is good. Very dry almost champagne like texture. Good.

Bottles from Whole Foods and Smith’s. Pours turbid and fizzy dark straw colored with minimal head. Nose is great tart fruit, blackberry, hops, lactose. Tastes tart, with big fresh blueberry flavor, heavy tartness, and finishing funk and lemony notes. This one is excellent, and as god as I recalled the first time I had it in August 201 in Craft Ale House from a shard bottle from the Queen of Beers, Janet. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - DEC 30, 2013
Bottle courtesy of my good friend. Cheers! Pours a hazy purple-amber with a white head. Nose is a bit of sweet berries with a vinous character and some noticeable tartness. Flavor is similar- nice berliner with some lactic tartness, some vinous character, and some vinous fruit/ red grape enjoyablel character. Light to medium in body and nice overall. Poured from bottle. Cloudy light purple color. Smells sweet and sour. Tastes sour and like black berries. Pretty delicious! fletchfighters (1528) - AUSTRALIA - DEC 26, 2013
500 ML bottle
More of a purple amber color really. Thin off white collar for a head.
More of a wine quality. Some tart red wine, acid and lemon curd. Rather muted though.
Crisp acidity. Blueberries, cranberries, red wine and lemon. Prickly carbonation, medium feel. Very dry oak finish.
To me far more developed than the regular version. More character Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - DEC 13, 2013
13 dec 2013, bottle. Faintly pink, almost pink. Faintly sour note, earthy wheat thin body and faintly fizzy. Light blueberry, faintly sour. Meh.
