Borefts Beer Festival IV. Day 2. Hazy gold beer, little off white head. Light palate, semi dry. Slightly airy. Big honey! Floral notes. Bubblegum esters. Dry finish. Unusual beer and all right!
The older name for this one, listed in the Borefts booklet, is Honey I’m Home! Murky yellow orange color, thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of hay and dusty honey. Taste starts sweet, then dusty and funky barnyard. Not much lambic evident, otherwise I would describe this one as a faro - sweetened with honey rather than candi sugar.

On tap at Borefts 2012, Bodegraven. Pours hazy gold with a fine, white cream head. White bread and dough nose, some honey. Big sweet flavor with a robust honey character and some light hay bitters. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with lightly dirty hay bitterness, understated honey sugars. Not bad. brokensail (16436) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 2, 2012
Hazy golden color with a white head. The nose starts off with just sort of an okay/mediocre saison character. There’s a bit of straw, grass, and bread, with a lemon candy note. The flavor has only a light tartness to it from the lambic. Sweet malt with some candied lemon peel, straw, grass, and a hint of yeast. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2012
