Dorwart (2603) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - AUG 31, 2017
Growler. Nice strong medium brown head of fine bubbles. Rich malty aroma with lots of chocolate, black cherries, roasted grains and a bit of plastic. Color is a very dark brown. Body is a bit thinner than expected for this big of an imperial stout. More dark roasted malts, anise, plums, dark chocolate and burnt toast. Strong alcohol presence and warming that makes the gums tingle. Lingering dark fruit that ends if a bit of dryness and just a hint of sweetness. A pretty good imperial stout but one that could use a bit more malt body to offset the high alcohol content.

Large head black pour medium carbonation aromas caramel rich chocolate fudge sweetness soy marmite dates the flavour fudge taste is there sugary note caramel soy dark fruits port wine note with all the mix of tastes a dry note as well still like the stout the fudge seems fairly good perhaps missing its full note so short of being a top rater
