A clever woman once said; fair is foul and foul is fair. On that note we threw in a young, unacknowledged hoppy pilsner, gave it a limp, wrinkly flavor and finished it off with an insulting high price that will give you a foul feeling in your mouth. Thats why we name Evil Twin Brewings Low Life the Golddigger of Beers.

Bottle at Pub Winston. Hazy orange color, medium-sized white and some lace. Grassy, sugary, fruity, grainy nose. Medium-bodied. Sweetish, grainy, worthy, lower class brewpubish pils. Some grassy bitterness in the finish. Meh.

Yellow with a lacing pilsner head. Some slight grass in the aroma, some slight floral notes. Crispy mouthfeel. Good execution of a classic style

355ml bottle (?, ?)
No idea what precise colour it is, as I poured it into my ceramic goblet, which gave it a beautiful crowning krausen, fairly persistent. Aroma is a very pleasant hoppy pilsner, more the german style than the czech style, some bready malts there. Medium palate, nicely drinkable, pleasant carbonation, invites you to take a big sequence of glugs rather than just a sip to taste. Alas, once its in the mouth its a bit too acidic and has too much perfumed soap. Otherwise it would be a very solid pilsner. Finish a bit aggressively hoppy, very bitter and too soapy still. Thats not going to stop me from finishing the whole bottle.

Nice translucency, but typical pale fizzy yellow color of style. Nice foam. Not much smell upfront, but then something odd after that. Bready taste with more hops than expected. Different than the usual, but wouldnt go out of my way.

Can. Hazy dark yellow/ochre with off-white large foamy head, slight doughy aroma, low carbonation, lightly bitter malty taste with lavender flavor, thin body, abrupt finish. Not a great pilsner.

Kauge (1743) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 26, 2016
Had a bottle at Puu in Tallinn. Looked alright. Aroma of meadow flowers and honey, far from the grassy hops Id have expected; tasted along the same lines, pretty sweet and flowery, a bit of grassy-ish bitterness. OK in good company. Not too memorable nor in-your-face, but quite different from a traditional Pilsener.
