A clever woman once said; fair is foul and foul is fair. On that note we threw in a young, unacknowledged hoppy pilsner, gave it a limp, wrinkly flavor and finished it off with an insulting high price that will give you a foul feeling in your mouth. Thats why we name Evil Twin Brewings Low Life the Golddigger of Beers.

Bottle pour. Had on tape at Trst, but I think I like it more out of a bottle. Nice pilsener flavor (with some sweetness on the nose) and a great bitter finish with good balance. Nice.

Bottle poured a lightly hazed pale yellow hue w/ a medium creamy slowly diminishing head. Light grain aroma. Initial flavor is faint sweet w/ a moderate bitter finish. Tastes are grass, hay, lemon, cereal, and crackers. Light bodied, lively carbonation, watery mouthfeel, and dry finish.

Yellow pour from draft with very foamy head. Draft at the Dawson. Fruity wheat and slight hops. Nothing great but good for a pilsner.

Crisp golden coloured body with a two centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of light malt, some metal and hints of apples and pear sweetness. Light-bodied; Assertive effervescence with a pungent and bright maltiness, some cardboard and grain flavours and a little fruity sweetness at the end. Aftertaste is crisp and dry with yeast, mellow spices and some herbal tastes sneaking in. Overall, a very nice pils with a light and airy flavour and a hint of metallic notes, but very good, just expensive. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Arrowine in Arlington, Virginia and given to me by Kevin in November 2013 - Thanks Kev!

ABUSEDGOAT (2683) - California, USA - FEB 7, 2014
Cloudy golden color, large rocky head, amazing lace and retention. Despite an overflowing head, looking at it is fun stuff and Im not sure what else you could expect from a Pilsner. I rarely give 5/5 but this is fully worthy. Aroma is like a golden/blonde ale, notes of lighter fruit, grass, pale malt, sea air. Light bodied, complex, very drinkable. Amazing.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a HUGE, too big, white head that diminishes much too slowly but leaves excellent lacing. Body is light to watery, carbonation is fizzy at first but diminishes to soft after the head is gone, oily to thin texture, lightly bitter and lightly sweet taste. Not big on flavor-reminds me of all too many mainstream American beers. This beer is kind of limp.

travita (4946) - Dallas, Texas, USA - FEB 2, 2014
Bottle. The look is a lacing white head, clear look, and golden in color. The smell is grain, perfume, cereal, and ok. The taste is cereal, chex, grainy, and crisp.
