COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A clever woman once said; ’fair is foul and foul is fair’. On that note we threw in a young, unacknowledged hoppy pilsner, gave it a limp, wrinkly flavor and finished it off with an insulting high price that will give you a foul feeling in your mouth. That’s why we name Evil Twin Brewing’s Low Life the Golddigger of Beers.

Can. Has a biscuit caramel malt aroma. Taste is kinda a bad hay with a bit super pleasant aftertaste. At least they are honest in saying its a limp, over priced beer

Alengrin (5722) - BELGIUM - JAN 31, 2017
Can at Uncle Babe’s in Gent. Thick and frothy, dense, stable, egg-white head; hazy peach-tinged straw blonde colour. Aroma of toasted onion or dito garlic, yellow grapefruit, bread crumbs, minerals, fresh bitter herbs, green kiwi, lettuce, celery, green olive. Neutral-ish onset, some basic malt fruitiness but no esters as expected though still a hint of kiwi (probably an early announcement of hops), spritzy and minerally carbonation, grainy and lightly bready middle, softish mouthfeel, adopting a very spicy and grapefruity, expressive New World hoppiness in the finish, drying and long bitter but not too harsh, drying. Typical IPL in which the cleanness of the typical American IPA yeast profile is extended to its logical extreme by not using ale yeast at all anymore; this idea has brought forth some interesting lagers and the hophead in me can certainly appreciate them. This one feels a bit ’green’ and the hop bitterness does become a bit harsh in the end though, perhaps a more tropical fruit and less bitter grapefruit profile with other hop varieties could have worked better.

Satyroneto (395) - BRAZIL - JAN 29, 2017
Boa pilsen. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

473ml can. Slight hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma: citrussy, floral hops. Taste: bready malts and citrussy floral hops, lemon, clean crisp flavour, light bitter hop finish. Medium body. Great pils, very easy drinking.

3.9
Toxophilly (26) - Leeds, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 17, 2016
Golden with a slight opaque haze - looks luxurious. Fresh lemon and lime aroma. Full, medium sweet taste with lingering cereal and gentle bitterness. More decadent than most austere pilsners but the aromatic qualities do suggest the style. Fullish bodied with fine carbonation gives it a chunkiness. Good!
