Faint earthy aromas coupled with a crystal clear appearance give it a true summer feel. A clean, light palate with a taste of hops and grain. Slightly higher ABV, 5.9, is perfect if you have to share a sixer.

Almost some smokiness more than grass in the aroma. Looks nice. This is great. Crisp and flavorful, it has a fairly big mouthfeel that has a nice semi-dry finish. Quite tasty beer. gnomungus (89) - - JUN 17, 2014
Great pilsner. A helping of hoppy bitterness on a nice baguette. Good for summer grilling. danielyabu (1698) - União da Vitória, BRAZIL - JAN 5, 2015
small frothy white head. fair lacing. mostly diminishing. flat thick light-yellow body. aroma: cereal, moderate hoppy, honey. if and ff: moderate sweet light bitter; average duration. palate: medium full body, oily texture, lively carbonation, metallic light alcoholic finish. Delicioso aroma frutado.
Poured from a 16 OZ can into a flute glass at the Iron Abbey in Willow Grove, PA. The appearance is a hazy golden orange with a moderate sized white head. The aroma is full of malt with some biscuit and hops added for fun. The flavor is big on malt and bread, a really nice flavor. Overall, a really good beer.

Bottle. Light yellow color, hay and wheat aroma, medium body, short finish, a little rough across the palate initially but nice clean finish. Great pilsner, definitely stands out as something special. jmohno (1652) - Iowa, USA - NOV 10, 2013
Expected color, carb, head for a pilsner. Strong hoppy/grassy almost skunky aroma.Bready buttery, light sweetness. Tart citrus.
Same taste as aroma.Lightly bready sweet with grassy tartness. Really enjoying this pilsener. Price pisses me off. Luckily its good enough to mellow you out to not think about the price, why think about it- youve already bought it. Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 14, 2013
In short: A very hoppy-grassy pils with a nice “rural” character. Lovely thirst beer. harrisoni (19189) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 12, 2012
How: Tap at Blackback pub, Waterbury VT..
The look: Clear blonde body topped by a medium white with good retention.
In long: Nose offers really nice grassy hops, sundried hay and an overall countryside field sensation. In mouth the body is surprisingly full and with a slightly fluffy texture and a lively non-aggressive carbonation, a pleasant mouthfeel. Taste is spot-on. Expressive fresh bready pale cereals and a whole lot of dry grassy hops leading to a rather dry finish with a bitterness of medium intensity. Might be because of the tap conditioning but I thought this was a surprisingly nice offering coming from a brewery that is not exactly known for their thirst blonde lagers. Another underrated thirst pilsner, and I may pretend that I don’t care that ratebeer tickers never give good ratings to session lagers but the truth is deep down inside I really really really don’t care.
On tap at Craft Beer Co. Golden lastimg white head. Wow thats a pretty drinkable pils. Of all the beers ive had today this is the easiest drinking. Good hop sting and nettle character on finish. Now that is a drinkable tasty beer. Good mixmasterob (1058) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - APR 30, 2013
Bottle from CBX. Hazy golden pour with a nice fluffy white head. Stuck around. Gorgeous pour. Aroma was super clean and awesome. Crisp grainy cereal malts, perfect hints of citrus, slightly floral. Flavors were super crisp and refreshing. Bready malt and a touch of citrus in perfect balance. Clean bitter finish. Everything you want in a perfect pils. Crisp, clean, delicious.
