Hazy golden ochre, one finger white frothy head, good lacing. Hoppy in a flowery way, sweet, caramel malt. Medium body, thick malt, long grainy bitterness, dry but sweet notes from flowery hoppiness. Tasty, balanced, minimal in a good way. PugUglyBrewer (692) - - NOV 18, 2016
Crisp and refreshing and superior for a pilsner with its snappy hop bite. The dry and spicy hop zip plays boldly on the light carbonated body. A crushable and delicious pilsner. ebone1988 (1968) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - JUL 7, 2017
Can from Merchants. Aroma is wonderful, citrus, pine, wheat, floral, slightly earthy, very nice. Appearance is darker golden, off white head, cloudy. Taste is pine, earthy, some malt bitterness, citrus, orange peel, very hoppy, very good. Mouthfeel is light body, light crisp carbonation, pine and malty aftertaste. Overall, it may not be as traditional as you’d like, but damn does it drink nice. wlajwl (6873) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - APR 20, 2013
Aroma is bread/almost whole wheat-like malts and citrus. The flavor is citrus, fruit, slightly nutty malts and a tangy finish. Better than the sum of its parts, a very good pils. Caytinator (1005) - Waco, Texas, USA - OCT 11, 2013
Pint on tap. First Evil Twin beer, bout time! Cloudy bastard, dull golden color, light honey in it. Medium-large persistent head, with great lacing. Aroma is appetizing, perfect for the style, sweetgrains, but bitter, too. The mouthfeel is not overwhelming, distinctly medium, with average aftertaste, light and creamy. Pleasant overall, with grassy notes prevailing, and distinct pils bite. Man, the germans would be jealous if they tasted this, better than theirs! Just lacking a tiny bit of something, but I couldn’t say what - I’ve only had one better.

A mild, full pilsner. Lots of body, bright yellow appearance. Grass and citrus in the nose. andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 28, 2013
Craft beer advent calendar. Pours a hazy yellow - gold with a massive out of control white rocky head. Aroma is grassy, lemony, lightly spicy, and a clean, crisp light malt profile. Flavour is grass, lemon, spicy hops, medium bitterness, light bready notes, and overall a clean, crisp maltiness with a small malty sweetness. salvaticas (832) - - FEB 18, 2014
Bottle pour. Had on tape at Tørst, but I think I like it more out of a bottle. Nice pilsener flavor (with some sweetness on the nose) and a great bitter finish with good balance. Nice. superspak (5675) - Michigan, USA - MAR 19, 2014
12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 10/23/2013. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden straw color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pear, cracker, bread, light honey, floral, grass, light pepper, herbal, and floral/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of malt, hop, and clean yeast ester notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pear, floral, grass, light pine, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, and floral earthiness. Fair amount of earthy floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pear, floral, grass, light pine, cracker, bread, light honey and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and robustness of hop and malt flavors with minimal yeast ester presence; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice hoppy pilsner style. All around nice balance and robustness of hop and malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering. loubar (157) - Los Gatos, California, USA - NOV 5, 2014
There’s a lot going on with the various flavors in this brew. Lightly toasted with subtle, sweet pilsner malts and creamy yeast on a lightly bitter earthy hop overtone with some some fresh milled grains in there as well. It ends more hoppy than the nose initially indicates. A little floral and earthy with a bit of bitter citrus peel thrown in. All in all, great drink-ability and very well done.
