COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after an antagonist movie character with a violent temper and a propensity for drooling, furthermore brewed amongst mad-ish Scottish dogs. Nevertheless is this beer far from mad itself. Youll find it a very pleasant, peaceful and a loyal Pale Ale woof.

Bottle from state line liquors. Pours brown with an inch of khaki foam. That leaves lacing. A bit of pine on the nose. A bit of malt on the tongue. A huge amount of hop bitterness on the finish which imbalances it. Solid but not spectacular.

September 2012. Pours amber color with a white head. Citrus and floral aromas are dominant but also some bready notes. Its an OK pale ale, but not my favorite.

Bottle poured a clear orange amber with a lingering ring of ivory foam. Aromas of straw, earthy hops and a hint of citrus. Palate was medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread and earthy hops with a crisp finish.

Bernsteinfarben, wenig weier Schaum. Tolles Hopfenaroma, leicht smalzig obendrein. Im Antrunk jedoch recht trocken, schmeckt getreidig, leicht brotig, um dann bitter auszuklingen. Etwas unausgewogen.

Pours a slightly murky golden amber with one finger head with moderate lacing. Toasted malt, nuts. Very bitter with no sweetness at all. Earthy. Medium body with sticky mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Spruce and herbal hops. Long bitter finish. Its pretty good, but one dimensional hop character.

Robust aroma is quite hoppy and has firm yeasty, fruity and woody tones. It pours a clear dark amber with a very thick, fluffy, and rather persistent wheat head. Well-rounded flavor has malty, hoppy, fruity and subtle yeasty and woody tones, quite satisfying. Mouthfeel, though, leaves a little to be desired, a bit thin and not too fizzy. Still, when the texture is the weakest point, that is hardly a drawback. Bark for this one!

Bottled. Pours clear amber with a medium sized off-white head leaving a fair lacing. Nose of citrus, peach, pine, floral notes and caramel. Sweet flavor that ends up quite dry and decent bitter. Medium bodied, watery to oily texture and average CO2. A nice and crisp pale ale. ★★★
