Bottle. Pours opaque black with a smallish tan head that dissipates fairly slowly with good lacing. Aroma is cocoa, maple, bourbon, vanilla. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter, a bit hot. Smooths as it warms becoming a welll blended desert sipper with loads of vanilla and maple on a chocolate backbone. Bourbon adds a desert liquor feel to it without going overboard on sweetness. Medium plus body, soft mouthfeel. Egxsellent.

12 oz. bottle from The Party Source. Pours a deep, dark, basically opaque brown with a small tan head that settles into a ring and a small island of film. Notes of maple, vanilla, cocoa, roasted malts, charred oak, bourbon, brown sugar, molasses, and dark and dried fruits. Medium-bodied, with modest carbonation and a boozy, sweet mouthfeel that finishes sticky and coating. I don’t think I’d age this one any longer despite the heat. It’s got just a wee bit more fruity like sweetness than I’d want. But still very good.

341ml bottle from trade with Dominic. Aroma: amazing aroma of maple, alcohol, chocolate, a tad of almond, coffee. Wow! App: black with a slightly burgundy tint, minimal head with no retention. Taste and palate: full body, liquoreux, lots of chocolate, light acidity and with some maple in the finish. Overall: wow. This is good. This is darn good. So complex. Liquoreux like I used to enjoy those Cycle. This is subliminal. ISO!
