This is a tasty tribute to a beloved and iconic beer style - the India Pale Ale. The style goes 200 years back - has been through every spectrum of the flavor palette and had it’s ups and downs on the IBU scale. This time around we re-created a contemporary style IPA - basically the taste of the perfect IPA right now. Understated hop flavors, fruity and crisp. The future is now.

Hazy straw. Assertive and beautiful nose; resiny, sweet. Light to medium body, mild but well defined flavor, neutral mouthfeel with low heat, great carbonation, long and elegantly tasty finish. Bitter, dry but well balanced with background malt, too low acidity. Complex and quality hoppy flavors, resiny, salad greens, fruity malt, pear. Delightful, just what one would expect from the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour from a 12oz can. SLightly hazy golden brew with white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, peach, cookie dough, a little resin. taste is mild doughy malt up front, a little bitter and overripe fruit in the middle, ends with tropical fruit notes and weakly emerging resin and earth. Enjoyable.

24/VI/17 - 33cl can from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte) @ home - BB: n/a (2017-946)

Clear blond beer, big fizzy aery off-white head, falls down pretty quickly, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, ripe tropical fruits, mango, some passion fruit, sweet caramel malts, bit piny and resinous, grapefruit notes, some kiwi. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, peach, pineapple juice, some banana, bitter, grapefruit, nice stuff, pretty dank as well. Aftertaste: hoppy, little malty, some caramel, bitter, more grapefruit, resinous, some citrus, dry finish, lots of pineapple juice. Me like a lot!

On tap at the Pour Taproom (SC). Pours with a slightly hazy golden body that’s topped by a creamy, semi-durable white head. Medium+ carbonation; medium-light body. Lots of citrus and cut grass in the aroma and flavor, but The flavor is milder and cleaner than the aroma suggests. Mild bitterness for style.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2017 Żółto-pomarańczowe, lekko zmętnione, piana mało obfita, drobne i średnie pęcherzyki, zostawia szczątkowy lacing. Aromat wyraźnie kwaskowy, chmielowy, dużo owoców tropikalnych - ananas, mango, papaja. Poza tym trochę cytrusów, szczególnie cytryna i limonka. Odrobina cebulki, popcornu. Słodowy, nieco karmelowego aromatu. W smaku wytrawne, świeży chmiel, nieco cytryny, pomarańczy i grejpfruta. Poza tym mango, melon, słód. Trochę przyprawowe. Posmak słodkawy, multiwitaminowy i nieco tytoniowy. Orzeźwiający. Goryczka ziołowa, średnia, dość długa, najbardziej intensywna dopiero chwilę po przełknięciu. Lekki aromat alkoholu. Rozgrzewa. Wysycenie średnie, adekwatne.

This canned brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to large sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a typically carbonated body hazy with floating particulate light yellow orange colored body and a good lacing. The sharp aroma was citrus and hoppy. The sharp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish citrus aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of citrus and hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

Can (batch 010). Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, melon), with notes of fruit cocktail/syrup, onion. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic, lightly astringent. The fruity notes are kinda clunky and syrupy, almost artificial smelling, and the onion doesn’t help matters either. Decent enough flavor balance, but thin and watery, so ultimately not that enjoyable to drink either.
