COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a tasty tribute to a beloved and iconic beer style - the India Pale Ale. The style goes 200 years back - has been through every spectrum of the flavor palette and had it’s ups and downs on the IBU scale. This time around we re-created a contemporary style IPA - basically the taste of the perfect IPA right now. Understated hop flavors, fruity and crisp. The future is now.

Can, batch 009. Pours hazy yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is bitter hops, with pine, citrus and floral notes, as well as malts with bread and toffee. Full body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is bitter hops, with pine, orange peel, grapefruit, tropical and grassy notes, as well as sweet malts with toffee. Bitter, full bodied and, although a bit on the sweet side, pretty balanced. Kinda sums it all up for a modern IPA, really.

Tap at Beer Hunters. Slightly hazy orange color, medium-sized white head. Juicy, fruity aroma, pineapple and citrus. Medium-bodied. Citrus, grass, grapefruit. If aroma is ne ipa like then flavor is more like typical modern ipa. Clean and balanced.

Can from Beer Mill. A dirty rugged IPA with flavors of hop, malt, toffee, tree and barley. Heavy stuff. I can’t drink two of these.

(Keg at Ølhus København, 20170212) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with rather high carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A clean and nice hoppy brew.

Kita (2170) - Koper, SLOVENIA - FEB 2, 2017
Can, 0.355l. Cloudy deep golden color with large soapy white head, nice lacing and soft to average visible carbonation. Aroma of passion fruit, pineapple, citrus, grass and biscuit. Taste starts light sweet biscuity and resinous, following is mild fruity and harsh herbal, mouthfeel is crisp and dry, while finish is grassy bitter. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Overall good IPA, but nothing spectacular about it...
