Great India Pale Ale. Mostly citrus with oily consistency, highly drinkable and refreshing. bulldogops (2701) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 29, 2017
Rating #2390 - 2016.03.22- Can from CBI. Pours a rich golden, small white head, frothy lacing. Aroma is pineapple, passionfruit, pine cone. On the palate, similar tropical flavours, mild resin, mild pine needle. This is resiny and juicy and the ideal American IPA for 2016. Too legit to quit. malrubius (2926) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - APR 13, 2016
Can from Brewfest. Hazy golden orange with dense head and lace. Potent citrus tangerine melon grassy aroma. Tropical fruit and grassy crackery malts with mild citrus bitterness and dry fruity hop finish. Medium light body nicely attenuated and very soft carbo. Wicked fucking excellent. I could drink a truckload of these. MetalNHopHead (2014) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - DEC 2, 2016
While I was pretty underwhelmed with the Retro IPA, the more hop-forward Modern counterpart gave me all the right strokes. It pours the gold-yellow color that’s so popular among, well, contemporary IPA’s. Piney and fruity aromatics. Bright, juicy tropical notes redolent of pineapple, orange, grapefruit, and melon. The fruit notes are tangy-sweet but the overall flavor gets a nice bitterness from hoppy pine resin. For me, I’ve calculated this is approximately 100x better than Retro. I guess it’s pretty clear which brewing era I belong in. CaptainTilven (191) - Nancy, FRANCE - JUN 2, 2017

Can @ home. Clear golden color, medium sized white to off-white head that lasts for quite a long time. Aroma is deliciously hoppy and grapefruity. Taste lightly malts, very hoppy, light grapefruit, very nice hop bitter and fruit hop bitter. Very crisp and clean with a long grapefruit bitter, bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Very nice IPA indeed! tderoeck (9978) - Gent, BELGIUM - JUL 22, 2017

Clear blond beer, big fizzy aery off-white head, falls down pretty quickly, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, ripe tropical fruits, mango, some passion fruit, sweet caramel malts, bit piny and resinous, grapefruit notes, some kiwi. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, peach, pineapple juice, some banana, bitter, grapefruit, nice stuff, pretty dank as well. Aftertaste: hoppy, little malty, some caramel, bitter, more grapefruit, resinous, some citrus, dry finish, lots of pineapple juice. Me like a lot!
Jesus H this is fucking delicious. I like how this beer so effortlessly encompasses everything an ipa today looks and tastes like. It’s wicked tropical, full of citrus and hop haze. Dry, bitter and fits the "east coast" style. Overall, it’s full of big tropical fruits and looks like whatever the "it" beer looks like. I love how Evil Twin can so easily make a beer that’s better than the hyped beers of now. Awesome stuff, love me some Evil Twin. Cheers onceblind (9859) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 11, 2016
Hazy golden with a thin but tight lacey white cap. Lovely grapefruit zest and fresh floral resins fill the nose with a kiss of pine. Crisp and orange zest/rind flavor with a beautiful and bright floral resiny hop flavor, very gentle pine, a nice citrusy bittersweetness, and a dry pale malt finish. Really crisp and clean. Lot’s of citrus in aroma with tones of orange. Pours light golden and hazy with a tall, solid head. Taste is full of hoppy bitterness, citrus and lemon grass. Medium bodied, lively. Long, long after taste full of hoppy bitterness. I really enjoy this.
