English: Did you like Before During and after Christmas? Maybe thought it pored brilliantly, the alcohol was admirable well hidden and you loved how the arrogant amount of hops numbed you. This beer will knock your tongue off, essentially due to the obscure amount of hops that went down this explosive fella – it’s a tour de force in hoppyness and by far the craziest beer ever made from Evil Twin – but not the last.

Bottle. Deep orange color, hazy, medium head. Aroma: fruity, citric, caramel, liquorish, hoppy. Taste: strong alcohol feels, heavy, still fruity and hoppy. Not easy to drink, but definitely nice expirience.

Bottle. Pours medium amber and medium opaque with a thin white foam subsiding. Scent is lovely notes of mixed hops, citrus fruits, and slightly artificial sweetness. Taste is slightly sour, flavors of aged, wood/borboun/sherry, IPA yeast and hickory. Finish is a bit like borboun cask. Flavors of rose petal and chocolate? Excellent.

Bottle at Multi Qlti Tap Bar, Kraków. Big sweet sticky tropical fruit aroma with some booze, grapefruit, malt, huge hop punch with some pine resin. Flavour is bittersweet with noticeable booze. Body is medium with a somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Nice hop kick, on its way to being a hoppy barleywine. Just a bit too boozy, a slow sipper that I should not have touched after a long day of craft bar hopping around Kraków.

Bottle at home. Clear yellow colour, no head, floating yeast chunks. Nose is alcohol, light champagne like notes, some fruity hops. Taste is medium-high bitterness, low sweetness, strong alcoholic warmth. Low carbonation, lingering bitter aftertaste. Egy szétcsavart ipa.

This things a chunky looking monster of an imperial ipa. Aroma is full of tropical fruit and sweet candied orange. Super heavy smelling. I don’t really know how to describe it, but it’s just thick smelling. Best part, for 13% you don’t smell any of the alcohol so bravo to them for being able to master the balance in this beer. Taste is super hoppy, sweet and tropical. A little malty, but for as big as it is, you really don’t get a lot of it. I was worried it was going to be a syrupy weird mess but it stays far away from that. Overall, this is an awesome imperial ipa. Not one I would drink regularly, but every one in a while it’s a good sipper. It’s perfect for drinking slow, savoring and seeing how it changes over the course of drinking it. Awesome beer, absolutely recommend it. Cheers!

Type: 8-oz. draft Glass: Clear snifter From: Pub 365 at Tuscany Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. Price: $8.00 Purchased: Dec. 16, 2016 Consumed: Dec. 16, 2016 Reviewed as: American Double / Imperial IPA Misc.: N/A Went to this place for the second straight night. This time I reviewed a Molotov Cocktail and sipped on another Bomb! while eating an OK burger. More interested in this one than excited. Poured a deep gold yellow color with 3-to-4 fingers of rocky white head. Some bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Almost perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. World-class foamy retention. Just a good looking beer. (Sight - 4.75) Smelled Citra, Cascade, lemon peel, lime, caramel and a touch of tropical. Smells really smooth for 13 pct. ABV. (Smell - 3.75) Tasted maltier than I would have thought. Caramel, toffee, bitter pine, Citra, dry Cascade, some spices (maybe Simcoe?), lemon peel, citrus zest, Nugget and a touch of earthy tobacco. Boozy, but not 13 pct. ABV boozy. (Taste - 3.75) Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Dry malty finish. (Feel - 4.25) Liked the smoothness of this one overall. Was nice to try, but not sure it’s something I would need to have again. (Overall - 4.00) 3.91 88 B+
