English: Did you like Before During and after Christmas? Maybe thought it pored brilliantly, the alcohol was admirable well hidden and you loved how the arrogant amount of hops numbed you. This beer will knock your tongue off, essentially due to the obscure amount of hops that went down this explosive fella its a tour de force in hoppyness and by far the craziest beer ever made from Evil Twin but not the last.

Tap at Pizza Luce. Orange with a thin off-white skin on top. Peaches, honey, alcohol, fruity and soapy hops. Taste is sweet with a burst of soapy bitterness in the middle that dissipates and then finishes sweet with a mild alcohol burn. Heavier body with a sticky feel. Didnt seem like a typical IPA, but dont know what Id call it.

On tap at Pazzos (Lexington, KY) Plain looking amber-colored ale. Fruity and sweet aroma largely conceals the high ABV, but alcohol esters are certainly present. ABV not at all concealed upon tasting, whereupon my taste feels lightly burned and alcohol esters are abundant. A solid grapefruit note from ample hops serves as the base. Substantial herbal and pine notes as well. Strong flavored, just plain strong, a bit harsh and certainly a little challenging to drink. Too extreme for my tastes.

Dunkin Donuts is marketing a donut for Easter right now that has a yellow marshmallow peep on top of a huge donut with artificially flavored and colored pink icing on top. I purchased one for my elderly mother because she always loved peeps. It had this really plastic-y odor that made me slightly nauseous. What does that have to do with a review of Eviltwin Molotov cocktail? Sometimes more is not better. I love IPAs with a passion. Many Imperial IPAs also manage to hide the alcohol with hops, which I applaud. This brew however, adds the yellow peep on top of the donut. What is the point. To say you drank a bottle and survived? I certainly did not enjoy this. Yes it blew up my mouth with alcohol and hops. But the alcohol took such control that I thought I was drinking an IPA with a shot of vodka. Not impressed.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy, slightly burnt orange with minimal cap. Aroma of tropical fruit, caramel, citrus zest, cereal. Taste is sweet, and a great bitterness. Medium-low carbonation, sticky mouthfeel, dry finish.

Bottle @ home. Pours orange with a light white head. Aroma is grapefruit, some grass, some resin. Flavor is citrus, toffee, a little boozy. Good beer.

Bottle bought at Champanes, this ale had a hazy dark orange and gold pour with a bunch of off-white particles floating around, the pour gave about a one finger off-white head that receded in a few moments to layer and ring, the nose had orange and grapefruit with citrus and resin hops, light toasted malt and a little bread, candy, sugar and fruit like sweetness, there was a good amount of alcohol esters on the nose, there were flavors of light toasted malt with a bit of bread, citrus, resin and pine hops, there was some orange fruit with other citrus, the finish had a generous hop bitterness that lingered a bit with a little malt following, the alcohol dried the palate some afterwards, each drink gave a little tingle of alcohol on the nose, the mouth feel was medium or a bit more that coated the tongue and on the edge of almost being syrupy, it had soft to average carbonation, the nose was pretty hoppy but the flavor had less hops than what I was expecting, the hops and malt were pretty even on the mouth or the malt was just a tad bigger, more hops would help this beer, the alcohol was noticeable but not over bearing or did not get in the way of enjoying this beer.

Holy taste of alcohol Batman. Started off a bit like I was drinking rubbing alcohol but that mellowed as it warmed and the hoppiness started to come through. Not an awesome DIPA for this reviewer.

Pours a dark copper with minimal head. Aroma is floral, grassy, with some citrus. Flavor has a rather cloying, almost medicinal sweetness to it, like cough syrup. There is some citrus, but theres a ton of booze flavor that really overshadows everything else. Kind of gross, actually (and unfortunately).

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2014 Ho Lee Fuk. This is some serious boost juice. Pours a deceptive light orange color. Clear, with a small white head. See pic:

Bottled less than a month ago, so it still shouldbe decent. Nose is filled with big juicy hops, mostly citrus and tropical fruit. A slight whiff of alcohol is to be expected at 13%. Taste is sweet and bitter. A lasting bitterness. Flavors of melon, grapefruit. Sweetish but not cloying. Finish is a punishing assault of citrus and pine. This isnt the best DIPA in the world, but its certainly some seriously high boost juice. Very dangerous because its so damn drinkable.

Rerate: this is basically Jesus juice. 4.6
