COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: Did you like Before During and after Christmas? Maybe thought it pored brilliantly, the alcohol was admirable well hidden and you loved how the arrogant amount of hops numbed you. This beer will knock your tongue off, essentially due to the obscure amount of hops that went down this explosive fella – it’s a tour de force in hoppyness and by far the craziest beer ever made from Evil Twin – but not the last.

16oz draft poured in pint glass. Disappearing white head, amazing copper color. Nose of citrus, fresh hops, and caramel. Tastes of raisin, honey, grapefruit, and syrup. Mouthfeel is very thick and syrupy. Very sweet flavor with a balanced hop profile.

Burnt orange appearance is slightly yeasty with clouds. Test is very smooth a little alcohol and sweet after taste

BeerKurve (520) - - MAY 15, 2014
Hazy orange color with a fizzy head and a moderate amount of visible carbonation; no lacing. Aroma of citrus hops, honey melon, caramel malts and some booziness. Strong booziness with some strong bitter citrus hops, grapefruit notes and caramel malts. Body is thick and moderate in weight, carbonation is moderate too. Decent but a bit too boozy and strong

Orangey color with a one finger head. Aroma is pine, citrus, slight caramel and a hint of alcohol. Taste is pine and citrus with a predominant alcohol warm and taste in the end. Not my type of beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught. Low fluffy white and quickly disappearing head. Hazy yellow body. Sweet fruity honey aroma. Alcohol dominated sweet fruity flavor with low carbonation and a long finish.

Beermack (725) - London, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 13, 2014
Tap at Taphouse CPH. Amber orange. Strong pine and orange on the nose, light strawberry, light booze. Big grapefruit and pine hit you first on tasting, lighter orange notes mix with more of an orange liqueur note. Big resin and booze. Caramel comes in to sweeten it up, but not as sweet as I'd expect. Pine, citrus and booze linger. A beast, but an enjoyable one

Tide (3895) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 8, 2014
Bottle from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Copper color, white head. Bitter taste with caramel, grapefruit, toffee, pine, hops, resin and mango. Bitter finish with grapefruit, caramel, hops and resin. Excellent double IPA.

superspak (5594) - Michigan, USA - MAY 7, 2014
12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 10/15/2013. Pours very hazy/cloudy bright orange color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, floral, grass, light pine, caramel, honey, biscuit, and floral/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate caramel/bready malt sweetness; with great strength. Taste of huge grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, caramel, honey, biscuit, and floral/toasted earthiness. Good amount of floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, apricot, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, caramel, honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate caramel/bready malt sweetness; with huge robustness and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and fairly full bodied; with a smooth, moderately creamy/sticky, and lightly slick mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is an awesome DIPA! Fantastic complexity and robustness of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate caramel/bready malt sweetness; and very smooth to sip on for the big ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.
