An awesome beer. Sweet caramel and hops on the aroma, at 13abv it’s going to be sweet, but the hop backbone make it very drinkable. Remember to sip, not glug! truebluehes (211) - Tipton, Iowa, USA - JUN 14, 2014
Bottle. Flavor > aroma. Nice hoppy sweetness. Well balanced. Awesome hoppy sweetness.

Draft at Mekong. Clear deep gold, good head. Hop bomb aroma of grapefruit, pineapple, slight pine, sweetish honey malts. Flavor matches, a standard palate wrecker. Nice. Vells (1980) - Rīga, LATVIA - JUN 12, 2014
Awesomly rich caramel based malty background, with quite impressive citrus hop bomb incoming – mostly grapefruit, oranges, peaches, bit piney. Maybe not very well balanced, but that sweetness is so sexy :P Decent moderate bitterness leading to bit dry finish. Enjoyable brew kraddel (9323) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - JUN 10, 2014

Bottle, great aroma, caramel, strong malt and hop smell, poursamber, orange, hazy, minimal head, white foam, heavy cloying sweetness, medium bitterness, lively, long finish, good heavy IPA. Stuu666 (15248) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 8, 2014
Keg at Brewdog Edinburgh. Pours hazy orange, aroma of burnt toffee and pine, taste is sweet toffee, juicy pine, dry and bitter. The_Osprey (9666) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 7, 2014
Keg at CPK. Dark orange or light brown, hazy, still, small foamy white head. Aroma - sweet burnt caramel, resin, rosewater. Body is medium, spritzy, slightly foamy. Taste is sweet toffee and caramel, resin, pine, some bitter chemical, vodka burn, slightly astringent finish. All the alcohol would be fine had I not had to sell a kidney in order to pay for this. Too sweet and yet strangely lacking in flavour. AWISLguy (3419) - Wisconsin, USA - JUN 6, 2014
Bottle from Sendiks in Brookfield with a smudged bottle date - end number is 14, so that is the start of a good sign. Pours orangey copper with a thin white head leaving nice spots of lace. Some definite floaties, although less in the second glass after not pouring the final inch out of the bottle. Aroma has heavy citrus (oranges, grapefruit, lemon zest) and pineapple. Some pine and faint caramel show through later. Very, very citrusy. Taste is of tangy spruce, orange zest, grapefruit ... and grapefruit. Very bitter. Some caramel kicks in for some backbone, but we are talking 90% hops 10% backbone here. Medium to full bodied with alcohol. Quite dry. Finishes to the bitter side of bittersweet. Heavily to the bitter side. Very hop forward and very bitter. Not sure there it appeared as 13% alcohol, but it was very bitter which could have been from that. Similar to DFH 120 in that the over-bitter, over-alcohol winds up as a detraction. Abio (1868) - BERMUDA - JUN 6, 2014
Orange coloured brew. Siropy and sweet, just near the borderline, good hoppy and very fruity. Decent brew and I like the feel in the mouth. Moderated biterness in the end.
