English: Did you like Before During and after Christmas? Maybe thought it pored brilliantly, the alcohol was admirable well hidden and you loved how the arrogant amount of hops numbed you. This beer will knock your tongue off, essentially due to the obscure amount of hops that went down this explosive fella – it’s a tour de force in hoppyness and by far the craziest beer ever made from Evil Twin – but not the last.

My go to high ABV IPA. The hoppyness brilliantly hides the alcohol taste, the appearance is gloriously unffiltered and looks like thousands of prehistoric microorganisms preserved in amber. This is one amazing brew! It’s one of those special beers that is so good that with every sip you feel like you might be doing something naughty... drink a few of these and you just might.

Pours a lovely amber with a small white head that dissipates quickly. Has a very subtle hop aroma. Has a very malty taste that balances the bitterness nicely. Goes down smooth but I still taste the hops in my mouth.

@ Ölprovning i Klippan 18/10.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2014 From a 355ml bottle on 23/12/2013. Pours a slightly cloudy golden orange with a smallish head. Has a huge aroma which includes caramel, toffee, orange, peach, pear and oodles of piney, grapefuity hops. On taking a sip, be prepared for intensity. This is one huge beer. The sweetness hits you first, with the caramel, toffee and honey prominent, but ultimately playing second fiddle to the fruit, which includes apricot, peach, mandarin and mango. Then the hops kick in, managing to subdue the enormous sweetness by smashing your mouth with a long, dry, resiny bitterness. The palate is lovely and syrupy, and the carbonation average. Holy crap, this is an amazing beer. After downing it, I feel like another, which is the ultimate compliment for something which weighs in at 13 %. This is the best imperial IPA I’ve tried to date and close to the finest beer period. An incredible experience. Rating 4.6. Re-rate on 16/6/2014. This beer is just incredible. On revisiting, it even manages to pip my long time fave, the sublime Peche Mortel. Closing in on a thousand beers and this is the best one I’ve downed so far.

Aroma: Deep and malty, with plenty of brown sugar and decadent sweetness, very light pine and resin Appearance: An amber maroon hue that is quite beautiful to behold! Taste: Heavily sweet, lightly bitter, with a medium sourness that holds on for a brilliantly long finish Palate: Medium body with a thin, slick texture, average carbonation and an aburbt finish Overall: A triple IPA should be "different". This is. With an approximate 13% ABV this is a potent, malty, sweet beer with slight hints of hops and abundant malts. Hand your buddy the keys and have three, or five! Serving type: on-tap

Bottle. Pours golden with a quite small white head. Aroma is mainly grapefruit and caramel, really great. Also pine, lemon grass and orange. Amazing palate, thick with a long bitter finish. Quite flat. First taste is sweet, almost sugar then taste is immediately transformed into a heavy bitter flavour packed with grapefruit and very long. Incredibly satisfying, one of the best beers I have had.

On tap at Brick Store Pub. Clear amber pour with a foamy off white head. Sweet delish aroma. Aroma of Sweet malts and loads of resinous hops. Taste sweet caramel and toffee malts. loads of resinous hops. Creamy smooth texture. So easy to drink. Hard to believe it’s 13%, but it definitely will put you on your ass. Heaven in a glass.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2014 Ho Lee Fuk. This is some serious boost juice. Pours a deceptive light orange color. Clear, with a small white head. See pic:

Bottled less than a month ago, so it still shouldbe decent. Nose is filled with big juicy hops, mostly citrus and tropical fruit. A slight whiff of alcohol is to be expected at 13%. Taste is sweet and bitter. A lasting bitterness. Flavors of melon, grapefruit. Sweetish but not cloying. Finish is a punishing assault of citrus and pine. This isn’t the best DIPA in the world, but it’s certainly some seriously high boost juice. Very dangerous because it’s so damn drinkable.

Rerate: this is basically Jesus juice. 4.6

This beer is the bomb. While it's nothing special to look at the flavor and body are exemplary. For aroma since my Snooter doesn't work so well I try to rate things conservatively. The label says the beer will knock my tongue off and numb my mouth with hops and while that didn't happen the beer is excellent considering it was stored in less than ideal conditions for two years. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Really flavorful. Quite sweet. Ton of hops. An absolutely delicious beer. Don’t drink it super cold.
