English: Did you like Before During and after Christmas? Maybe thought it pored brilliantly, the alcohol was admirable well hidden and you loved how the arrogant amount of hops numbed you. This beer will knock your tongue off, essentially due to the obscure amount of hops that went down this explosive fella – it’s a tour de force in hoppyness and by far the craziest beer ever made from Evil Twin – but not the last.

33 cl bottle from Vinmonopolet CC Vest. Pours hazy amber with a medium offwhite head that leaves a small lacing. Strong aroma of pine and grape. Taste is well balanced between sweetness and bitterness. Some alcohol warmness. The strength of this one is very vell hidden ! Cool stuff

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 28 July 2017) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, orange peel, tropical fruit and some vinous alcohol. Malty, fruity taste with orange marmalade, grapefruit, caramel and a generous citric, resiny bitterness in a vinous finish. Full body, with a slight sweetness (but dryer than expected). An explosion of hops and alcohol, actually more bitter than strong. A bit unrefined and unbalanced, but tasty. Nice one.

Tap, ADT. Clear orange amber with a small off-white head. Lots of citrus and tropical fruits, citrusy hops, pine, syrupy resin. Soft carbonation. Long resiny bitter finish, and the ABV is all there. Nice.

25cl on tap at beer temple. Pours a clear amber with little head, doesn't dissipate though. Beautiful aroma, loads of pine needles, resin, some citrus fruit; loads of hops. Big body, thick hoppy herbal mouthfeel. Flavour is heavy and boozy. Really intense hops but with a huge sweet malt base. Great balance, impressive at 13%. Herbal and resin hops flavours are so intense. The more I have of this the more I like it. One of the nicest IIPAs I've had. Don't understand the critics!

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2017 Really enjoyed this. My nose detected the obvious citrus fruitiness right away but then picked up a lot of vanilla and some alcohol. Tastes amazing, similar to the smell with a huge citrus flavor. Alcohol is well hidden in this, imo. It's put together well. This will likely be by high abv brew of choice going forward.

Bottle. Dark orange to amber, very clear with small but pretty solid white head and not bad lacing. Strong and solid, sweet, tropical aromas on malty background with lychee notes. Medium to full body, slightly ashy mouthfeel and little bit of alcohol in taste. Heavy and long bitterness in the finish with light alcohol warming. Not perfect but very good.

rotaman14 (678) - Wiesbaden, GERMANY - AUG 19, 2017
Grainy, fruity and mildly citrusy aroma. Malt and booze and little else in the taste. You know what this reminds me of? That high vol. Faxe beer. And that’s not a good thing.

Tap @ Chmielarnia Twarda. Semiclear orange with strong nature white head. Unspecific hops with red berries and alcohol. Typical IIPA palate. Long hoppy finish. Possibly an aged sample.

oobawa (1658) - Tennessee, USA - AUG 4, 2017
12% ABV according to the can, and you feel every damn decimal point of it. Pretty rough going, overly sweet yet with a strange, wet grain undercurrent that’s rather off-putting when combined with the honeyed fruit and deep resinous bitterness. Fruit dominates, almost giving this beer an imperial shandy vibe, except the back end grows medicinal and there’s that weird graininess that does the beer no favors. Graininess follows through to the nose. Looks good at least, but the feel’s terrible, creamy but boozy as hell. Might be my least favorite ET beer.

3.3
zimbo (970) - SCOTLAND - AUG 4, 2017
Big sappy sweet orangy gingery pineness with other tropical fruit. Thinnish head. Orangy coliur cimplete with a generous amount of sentiment floating.sweetness dominates everything.
