UPDATED: JUN 9, 2012 A: Dark pure-brown body. Just the faintest bit of light khaki colored foam. No lacing.
S: Tons of caramel, brown sugar, a pinch of molasses and rum-like fruit sweetness.
T: Like the nose, this is one healthy blast of sugary sweetness. Surprisingly, despite the clear abundance of residual sugars, I didn’t find it to be cloying at all. There is a nice cane-rum like flavor that brings some
M: Given the sweetness, the medium body, gentle carbonation and smooth finish, helped keep any cloying vibe away. Impressive.
O: A robust assault, but ultimately lacking the depth and complexity to be a mainstay.

28-OCT-2011, bottle @home from "Fish & Beer".
Clear brown almost no head. Nose is sugary sweet caramel with a hint of licorice - moscovado?
Taste is quad like with caramel and dried fruit. Very sweet, almost no bitterness. Fine belgian. OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 26, 2011
From a 0.5L bottle, shared by Bergen Ratebeer Crew @Club Gonzo’s. A deep brownish-amber colored beer, topped by a low coarse blond head. Heavy caramel-sugary aroma with a sweet fruit-cocktail scent. Also a whiff of phenols and higher alcohols. Taste has a substantial fruit-sweetness, along with toffee and molasses tones. Sparsely hopped. Juicy mouthfeel. Feels full in the mouth, due the big amount of residual sugars. Alcohol warmth and a lingering sweet fruity/caramelly ending. Did easily fill my sweet tooth, and more. madsberg (11774) - Søborg, DENMARK - OCT 20, 2011

Pour is dark brown with some red highlights and a thin off-white head. Aroma is huge brown sugar, candied sugar, hazelnut, and a pinch of Belgian yeast. Flavor is quite cloying, but for some reason it works (maybe because of the name?). Heavy brown sugar, some dried fruit, and a finish of yeast and alcohol. Medium bodied.
