Bottle. Thanks to Faroeviking for providing! It pours brown with a creamy off white head. The aroma is yeast, brown sugar, dark fruit and candy. Sweet fruity flavour with notes of spices, yeast, caramel, sweet malt and brown sugar. Long dark fruity finish. Ungstrup (38152) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 19, 2011
Bottled. A dark red beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of berries, malt, candy sugar, and over ripe fruits. The flavor is very sweet with notes of candy sugar, malt, dried fruits, and a bit of yeast, leading to a dry finish, where the alcohol tickles the tongue lightly. Small amber-brownish head, relatively stable, fed by finely, well-carbonated slightly hazy brownish red beer. Perfumed nose with almonds, marzipan, rosewater and dark brown sugar. Sweet, but less than suggested by nose and label; woody touches, and again almonds. Brown (candi or other) sugar. Bit rum-like flavours, but without the alcoholcomponent. Mineral water quality, relatively light body ~ to the ABV, well-attenuated & well carbonated. Not too sweet, thankfully. But not much else - the carbonation seems to bear most of the balance. thewolf (12713) - Kolding, DENMARK - SEP 18, 2011
Bottle, bought @ Høkeren, Cph.BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - SEP 17, 2011
Very dark mahogany red-brown with a small, light fizzy, creamy, beige head. Aroma is complex sugary, molasses, liqourice, Belgian sugar, cane sugar, light toasted caramel. Mild plums and raisins. High carbonation, fine fairly light and mild creamy palate. Flavour is sweet, sugary, cane-sugar, again some toasted caramel working its way into liqourice territory. Mild vinious with some plums and raisins. Short aftertaste. Very simple and sweet, yet still endearing.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, brew mash ! brown sugar - candy, moderate yeasty, phenol - alcohol, yeast, sweet candy yeast. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, burnt caramel - malt sugar, yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO to sweet and sugary for me ..

Bottle. A clear one, dark brown in color and with a beige head of moderate size. Alcohol, dark sugar, caramel and dried fruit notes on the palate. Quite burning on the tip of the tongue, with lots of sugary sweetness, as well as dried fruits and some licorice-like hints. Full-bodied and sweetish. Lasting warming and sweet finish. Overall, too sweet and alcoholic, yet I have to admin I like it quite well. 110820
