Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good - fair lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, brew mash ! brown sugar - candy, moderate yeasty, phenol - alcohol, yeast, sweet candy yeast. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, burnt caramel - malt sugar, yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO to sweet and sugary for me ..

Bottled. A dark red beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of berries, malt, candy sugar, and over ripe fruits. The flavor is very sweet with notes of candy sugar, malt, dried fruits, and a bit of yeast, leading to a dry finish, where the alcohol tickles the tongue lightly. joergen (28108) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 26, 2011

Copper colour, small off-white head. Aroma is banana, spices, floral notes as well. Flavour is fruity, wooden and some mild herbal notes. OK, but a bit strange.
Botte 50 cl. Courtesy of Meilby. Pours a hazy amber with a small off-white head. Sweet aroma of caramel, overripe fruit and Belgian yeast. Solid body, carbonation is a little low, brown sugars, overripe plummy fruit and a subtle yeastiness. Warming alcohol in the finish. Very pleasant Belgian style ale - almost a mini-Quad. 131011 madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2013

Opaque black - brown beer, small tan head. Nose of dark malt and sugary bubblegum. Light palate, a little silky. Sweet malt and sweet molasses. Mild lactose and mildly spiced bubblegum. Finishes smooth with minerals. Fresh tasting but a little but much with the malty sweetness. Needs some hop relief.
Draft. Very dark maroon color, large bright tan head. Aroma of furniture polish. Taste is medicinal and pure sugar. Is this a mistake? Rasmus40 (20643) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - FEB 29, 2012
