Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, candy sugar, malt and hops. Very sweet beer. mcberko (17830) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 1, 2012
500mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with an amber tinge and a medium beige head. Aroma is fairly sugary, with dark fruits, brown sugar and Belgium yeast. Flavour is very similar, with brown sugar, some dark fruits and Belgium yeast all equally characterizing the taste. Despite the name of the beer, the sugary qualities are not cloying, nor out of whack. Finishes on dark fruit and sugary brown sugar notes. Medium complexity with lots of depth. Very enjoyable. chrisv10 (17428) - DENMARK - AUG 20, 2011

Bottle. A clear one, dark brown in color and with a beige head of moderate size. Alcohol, dark sugar, caramel and dried fruit notes on the palate. Quite burning on the tip of the tongue, with lots of sugary sweetness, as well as dried fruits and some licorice-like hints. Full-bodied and sweetish. Lasting warming and sweet finish. Overall, too sweet and alcoholic, yet I have to admin I like it quite well. 110820 jtclockwork (16581) - , New Jersey, USA - OCT 19, 2011

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Pours dark ruby amber with a small creamy head. Dark sugar, caramel, rye and vague yeast. Smooth and full bodied. Sweet, sticky and syrupy. Lack vinousness and complexity. BUT pretty tasty anyhow. Benzai (15608) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUN 16, 2012
