200ml from tap at Schouskjelleren. Mahogany coloured body, spotty lacing from a filmy layer. Malt-fruity aroma. Taste a bit like sweet jam with its malt-fruity flavour added by ripe banana and spices. Bittersweet, dried fruits to the ending. Medium bodied and pleasant (Oslo, 23.01.2012). Bottle, bought @ Høkeren, Cph.
Very dark mahogany red-brown with a small, light fizzy, creamy, beige head. Aroma is complex sugary, molasses, liqourice, Belgian sugar, cane sugar, light toasted caramel. Mild plums and raisins. High carbonation, fine fairly light and mild creamy palate. Flavour is sweet, sugary, cane-sugar, again some toasted caramel working its way into liqourice territory. Mild vinious with some plums and raisins. Short aftertaste. Very simple and sweet, yet still endearing.
