500ml Bottle: Aroma of malt, sugar, light dark ripe fruit, light caramel, and raisins. Poured brown/deep copper in color with a medium-sized, creamy, tan head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Hazy. Slightly sparkling. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes of malt, sugar, light brown sugar, and candy. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malt, sugar, candy finish. 8%ABV is completely hidden throughout. Palme (4811) - Bergen, NORWAY - SEP 30, 2011
0.5l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew and OleR. Pours a near clear nutty-brown body with a small sidesticking bubbly head. Aroma is really sweet with caramel and heavy ripe banana. Also some hints of pure alcohol. Average carbonation, medium-bodied and it has a sticky and syrupy mouthfeel. Flavor-wise this is really sweet with enormous amounts of banana - a bit to much perhaps? -, some plums and almost no bitterness. Like drinking fermented liquid banana-concentrate topped with caramel, brown sugar and ripe strawberries. Nice warming aftertaste. All that being said, it was not any bad flavors but one glass is enough.. OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 26, 2011
From a 0.5L bottle, shared by Bergen Ratebeer Crew @Club Gonzo’s. A deep brownish-amber colored beer, topped by a low coarse blond head. Heavy caramel-sugary aroma with a sweet fruit-cocktail scent. Also a whiff of phenols and higher alcohols. Taste has a substantial fruit-sweetness, along with toffee and molasses tones. Sparsely hopped. Juicy mouthfeel. Feels full in the mouth, due the big amount of residual sugars. Alcohol warmth and a lingering sweet fruity/caramelly ending. Did easily fill my sweet tooth, and more. sfhodense (4789) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - JUN 26, 2012

28-OCT-2011, bottle @home from "Fish & Beer".
Clear brown almost no head. Nose is sugary sweet caramel with a hint of licorice - moscovado?
Taste is quad like with caramel and dried fruit. Very sweet, almost no bitterness. Fine belgian. Habanero (4682) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - JUN 8, 2012
Bottled. Pours deep brown with a medium sized, short livin’ beige head. Nose of brown sugar, caramel, yeat and overriped fruit. Markedly sweet flavor with dark malt, dark, dried fruit, berries and molasses. Medium to full bodied, creamy to syrupy texture and soft carbonation. Ends up more dry with an alcohol touch. Goes well with a lump of good cheese. callmemickey (4543) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 29, 2011
UPDATED: JUN 9, 2012 A: Dark pure-brown body. Just the faintest bit of light khaki colored foam. No lacing.
S: Tons of caramel, brown sugar, a pinch of molasses and rum-like fruit sweetness.
T: Like the nose, this is one healthy blast of sugary sweetness. Surprisingly, despite the clear abundance of residual sugars, I didn’t find it to be cloying at all. There is a nice cane-rum like flavor that brings some
M: Given the sweetness, the medium body, gentle carbonation and smooth finish, helped keep any cloying vibe away. Impressive.
O: A robust assault, but ultimately lacking the depth and complexity to be a mainstay. daje (4436) - NORWAY - AUG 20, 2014
Bottle. Cloudy dark brown body with a small beige head. Aroma of caramel, oranges, banana, plums. Taste is sweet, brown sugar, raisin, banana with a peachy and spicy yeast finish. Pretty sweet stuff, though the taste has a nice complexity which makes this an enjoyable beer. For sharing I might add. markextrae (4424) - Alingsås, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - NOV 17, 2013
