Pours dark brown in color with an off-white head. Woah, intense nose on this! Super heavy on the smoke and chipotle aroma with a smell that’s almost reminiscent of the fire from charcoal on a grill. A bit of burnt wood and roast, too. The flavor is quite spicy and has sort of a hot sauce/BBQ sauce feel to it. A touch fruity from the peppers and a lot of roast and smoke. One of the more intense chili beers I’ve had. radagast83 (8069) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - MAY 12, 2012
Draft at Churchkey. Poured a near pitch black color with a small tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, toasty notes, with a touch of char and smoke. Subtle notes of chili notes, but beer is dominated with smoke. Roasted, toasted, pretty enjoyable. EHopper (620) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 12, 2012

On tap, pours an ultra black with creamy head. Decent laving. Aromas and taste of freshly harvested green peppers, chocolate, smooth, roasty balance in the end. Great. arone12 (929) - Maryland, USA - APR 29, 2012
Pours a black color with a small head. Has some chocolate and spicy peppers in the aroma and taste. Did not overdo the chili peppers like I have tasted before. Good beer. DeputyAndy (636) - Ambler, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 29, 2012
Draft at Farmer’s Cabinet. Pours a pitch black with a dark brown head. You can smell some roastiness intermixing with definite pepper flavor. The heat of this really builds as you drink it. You definitely feel the heat, which is really amazing. Not for everyone, but really impressive.
