UPDATED: SEP 9, 2013 Dark brown body, immense light brown head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel, coffee, liqueur, spices. Medium body, average carbonation. Nice relatively sweet flavour with coffee, caramel, brown sugar, some spices. Nice. SlackerMads (3603) - DENMARK - JUL 17, 2013
Bottle courtesy of nobleman Papsø. Slow gusher, produces a huge off white head when poured. Roasted, chocolate, cocoa, charcoal, grain. Light yeast in the nose. Taste is light/medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Too high carbonation, but still a damn fine porter. Would drink again very much, very solid for the abv. This bottle must be the worst slooooowgusher I’ve ever had. The glass was filled with a fizzy head ONLY, almost instantly. The content of the bottle then slowly just kept growing and growing, even when the bottle was almost empty, it kept growing back out of the bottle. Aroma kind of stings in the nose from the masses of co2, dark malts, unripe banana, grass, coffee, cocoa. Taste is very fizzy and watery, dark malts, ashtray, burnt caramel, chocolate, burnt coffee. Medium bitterness, thin and harsh mouthfeel, masses of carbonation. Horrible!
