3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy gold pour with a 2 finger, bright white head. Aroma is spicy, peppery yeast, citrus, tart tree and stone fruit, light minerality and nice, sweet floral notes. Flavor starts off with spicy yeast, cereal, bready malt, grass, pepper doughy yeast, then lots of citrus and floral hops come in along with some spiciness toward the slightly bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily but dry entry, dry finish and medium strength, sharp and blanketing carbonation that suit the beer very nicely. Really good. I usually end up wishing that most stronger Saisons were a little less so, but with the balance leaning more toward the hoppy side, and still having a solid, but not overbearing yeast presence I think this one is right where it needs to be.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a very small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a typically carbonated body slightly hazy yellow orange colored body and a good lacing. The aroma was malt hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium rye aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of hops malt and rye. An OK brew just nothing special. andrepintado (3747) - Porto, PORTUGAL - AUG 7, 2017
