Rask0lnikov (1396) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 18, 2017
On tap at Brewdog Tallinn. Pours pale golden yellow colour. Sourness, acidic notes, lactic notes, citrusses and slight hints of some fruits or berries in the aroma. Sour notes at first. Some hints of lacto. Acidic and citrussy notes. Sour, slightly dry finish. Citrusses in the aftertaste. Some acidity too. Quite boring sour ale, but easy to drink and not bad.

Tap (Brewdog, Tallinn) (5:3:6:2:10+=2.6+)
Hazy yellow, brief fizzy head. Pretty textbook berliner weisse aroma, light on the lemon, but there with the generic lacto sourness, and wheatiness. Even more wheaty in the taste. Light palate, watery, fizzy carbonation, some carbonic bite as well as the sour bite. FInish pleasantly wheaty, but a bit starchy too. Too much carbonic acid everywhere. However, as a 3.2% berliner weisse, one might expect that.

Pale, cloudy yellow color with a very fizzy and quick dissolving head of soapy white foam. Tart lemon and blood orange citrus on the nose with a pleasantly tangy taste. A very friendly sour at only a tad over 3%. Very sessionable and quenching sour.
