Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade 8BC, kld., DK-1655 Copenhagen, Denmark.

Clear dark black colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate yeasty, baking yeast ! Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long long duration, licurice, dark malt, long sweet after taste - finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110505]

Ungstrup (38417) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 7, 2011
Draft. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and liquorice. THe flavor is very sweet with extreme strong notes of liquorice (salmiak), combined with some roasted malt, leading to a dry finish. Too much liquorice for me - I love liquorice, but obviously not that much.
