50cl bottle, Soft DK labelled, from Erzbierschof – Pours black with medium brownish head. In the nose chocolate, coffee. Very sweet and creamy mouthfeel. Bitter and quite dry, roasty palate that lasts for ages. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - APR 28, 2013
Bottle:   Black in color, moderate to large brownish head, foamy, with nice lacing.   Somewhat of a weird
hoppy nose.   Roasted malts are secondary.   Astringent roasted malts on the tongue.   Its a little difficult to
drink.   Very slight horse/cow pasture comes up once it warms.   Very acrid on the backside.   Its hoppy, roasty,
but this husk like astringency kills it.   Not a smooth Imperial Stout by any means.   Moderate to full body and
mouthfeel.   Finish is just this astringent an acrid roastiness thats hard to palate.   Not a great example of the
style. Jesterdeal (1985) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - APR 27, 2013
Aroma of vanilla, licorice, coffee and vanilla extract. Pours black with slight white film. Tastes great and roasty with vanilla, anis and delicious mocha. A little too much vanilla but great. Niko100 (2889) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 26, 2013
Dark brown/black color; Heavy creamy body; Aroma of toasted sweet malt, vanilla, cocoa/chocolate, & some coffee; Flavor of roasted sweet malt, caramel, vanilla, dark chocolate, hops, coffee, and some licorice; Finish is slightly bitter; Nicely balanced; Very good. Arome embourbée dans le carton ou je ne sais trop quoi. En bouche c’est beaucoup plus alléchant, caramel, vanille et mélasse.

500 ML bottle
Black with touches of ruby. Little to no head at all. Some white foam and bubbles and some lacing. Obvious ABV kegs.
Good nose. Licorice, coffee, chocolate and a lot of vanilla. Well hidden alcohol.
Creamy, slick, astringent, and a lot of vanilla. More of am imperial vanilla milk stout to me. Coffee in the right spots but a little too astringent at times.. Warmer it gets the vanilla gets a tad bit overwhelming and sweet.
Very US style stout that is quite good but touches too sweet and too much coffee to make it exceptional. lliams (204) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - APR 8, 2013
pour was a little dull- big bubbles.. aroma is full and awesome, likewise the taste. vanilla, chocolate etc... all good but i was expecting a bit more viscosity.. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - MAR 31, 2013
Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. The aroma is full of vanilla and chocolate. The flavor is more complex. I get some nice bitter and milk chocolate, as well as some vanilla and roasted malt. Medium to thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Very nice. This Imperial Stout was a real joy to drink. Lots of chocolate and vanilla notes with a soft coffee-cream background. Wonderfully delicious. Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - MAR 27, 2013
