Bottle at Brewdog Shoreditch. Pours black with a thick beige head that leaves good lacing but fades fast. Aroma is vanilla, hot chocolate, cocoa, fresh cream and malt. Taste is predominately vanilla, cream and chocolate in a lesser way. Full bodied, creamy and very smooth. Delightful. ComradeK (1269) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - FEB 24, 2013
500ml bottle. Pours an opaque black, with a small beige head, which lasts well and leaves very good lacing. Strong roasted malt dominates the aroma, with potent espresso and dusty cocoa backing it up. Quite strong bitter herbal hops up front lead into a roasty malt backbone, with espresso coffee and bitter dark chocolate notes prominent. Hazelnut and woody notes come through towards the finish, which leaves a lingering blend of dark chocolate and woody flavours as an aftertaste. This beer is not as complex as some imperial stouts, but its roasted malt flavours give it a firm backbone and a lovely dark, bitter feel. A nice one indeed. flip_soeperman (881) - NETHERLANDS - FEB 24, 2013
Very black with thick brown head. Slightly sweet with decent bitterness. Aroma of red fruit, coffee and vanilla. Body is medium and less than expected. Not bad, but not very full. Furthermore very good

500ml bottle [Thanx David for sharing]. Pitch black colour with small tan head. Dark chocolate aroma. Taste is pure liquid dark chocolate, slightly spicy background with a touch of green onions. Smooth. Really good. patricks110 (2787) - Alberta, CANADA - FEB 22, 2013
Super smooth and silky stout with a hell of a vanilla bean and cocoa flavour. The pour is a viscous black with a gorgeous creamy beige head. The nose is sublime with a beautiful roasted malt, smooth vanilla and a dusting of cocoa. The flavour has a major roasted malt, more vanilla and a hint of licorice amongst big roasted malts and chocolate. Supremely smooth and silky palate. Just exceptional.

Tap. Pours opaque black cola brown with good light tan head and lace. Average hop aromas, malt overshadowed by a big vanilla bean scent, come oaky, choc, coffee, roasty burnt toffee notes are there. Earthen, yeast aromas are there. Body a touch thinner than expected, the roasty notes so acrid, gives the illusion of thinning. Also yeast character prominent. the vanilla continuing through over the top of the malt backbone. A touch boozy also, finishes moderately bitter, acrid, light-moderately sweet. The acrid roastiness and sweetness lingering on. StoutHead (993) - DENMARK - FEB 21, 2013
500ml. bottle. Pours a very very deep red - almost black, with a medium tan head. Aroma is of roasted coffee, vanilla, licorice and soy sauce. Taste is all that as well as roasted malt and dark chocolate. Has a long roasted aftertaste and a slight hint of booze. Full bodied and sweet in taste. Smooth and delicious. Would absolutely drink again. gam (4135) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - FEB 17, 2013

Bottle. Black with a small head. Chocolate dominates with a slightly burnt aftertaste. So easy to drink considering its strength. It should carry a danger warning. Lovely. Furseth (2165) - Kungälv, SWEDEN - FEB 15, 2013
Bottle: Black colour, with a big creamy brown head. Aroma dominates of caramelly, dust, grasy bread, raisins, and dark choclate. Flavor had a nice creamy mouth feeling of dark choclate, bread, raisins. big body, long fruity finish. Well done!!
